Does anyone here have eye floaters and if so did you ever take any medication or supplement to treat them.

I have had them, and don't know that there is medication to treat them. They are part of getting older.

Weed will help, it helps everything. The floaters will still show up, but you won’t care or will notice them less.  But I think Ytown is right on there being no treatment. However, I’m no MD, so check with your doctor.

From what I understand, trult severe ones can be treated with laser ...... but for the most part, the eye and its fluids generally reabsorb them.

I've had them for many years also. I noticed that some had either shrunk or were gone altogether. A few days ago I noticed a new one that came out of nowhere. I have regular yearly eye exams. I saw where there is a supplement you can take that claims to reduce their size and eliminate the smaller ones. It's advertised on Amazon and I was just curious if anyone had tried it and what the results were.

My eyes haven't floated since I stopped drinking so I'm not sure I know what you're talking about.

I have had cataract surgery on both eyes and have early signs of macular degeneration. I have never had a floater problem other than what might be considered normal. No more than what I saw 60 years ago. Everybody sees them every now and then.
