i havent heard Les Paul's name either.
Dunno many other people with guitars named after them. Pioneer of the Electric Guitar

I saw him twice here...he did a show at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and at the House of Blues. At 91 years of age he can still play very effectively.He did have a big influence on a lot of guitarists out there.

The kid one of the Clark Brothers on that band competition reality show really impressed me.
Jimmy was classic though tough to top him.

If you like great guitar work treat yourself to these videos. Joe Bonnamassa There is a little bit of everything from blues to rock, acoustic etc. BB King asked Joe to open for him when he was only 12 years old.

C'mon MHD...........he's no slouch with the guitar.....his RRHOF performance of the While My Guitar Gently Weeps was Awesome...last years SB performance in the rain not to shabby.....just needs to be in the top 100...that's all I'm saying..
