Steelers looked ok exept their 4th string QB Tanner Morgan is really bad. Kenny Picket looked good, so did Diontae Johnson and George Pickens. Same with Calvin Austin III especially his 67 yard TD pass. Broderick Jones still has a lot of work to do. He's not going to be the starting LT anytime soon. Kendrick Green is just terrible as a backup center.

WOndering how Baker looked

I didn't watch, but I hear he looked solid.

TAMPA, Fla. -- — The Tampa Bay Buccaneers aren't rushing to declare a winner in the competition for Tom Brady's old job.

Baker Mayfield was sharper than Kyle Trask in a 27-17 preseason-opening loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Friday night. Coach Todd Bowles, however, wasn't ready to say either candidate has gained the upper hand.

Mayfield posted better statistics in 1½ quarters against the Steelers, but it's always difficult to assess performances in outings during which starters from both teams play sparingly while coaching staffs take extended looks at backups and young players hoping to make the final roster.

“He was composed, did a good job of commanding the offense,” Bowles said of the No. 1 overall pick from the 2018 draft. “He made the plays he needed to make.”

steelers look really good thus far. Crisp and prepared. Great talent on offense. They could be a big surprise team

I watched at least 6 plays of Mayfield on the Buccs as, sigh , Columbus wants to shove pitt games down our local network broadcast network,
and thanks to the Browns always being in 4th place despite a ton of talent,
who can blame em,

and Mayfield looked bad,
I didn't like hardly any, ok any of his in pocket decisions,
one, they treated him like a backup by making him hand off 4 in a row at the beginning, if not 3 in a row.

two, when he did pass it was off the wrong foot and behind/across his body with the wrong arm, the near arm, and two or 3 times exactly like that,

three, he was way too @uick to chose the dump off, and the first dump off was about a lateral behind the line of scrimmage

then some of his completions were late and lacked velocity, which = what in the real games? ints, like that td was an instant decision to the back of the end , but it appeared to be such a floater that it was only luck that his player got it, and in bounds? the closest of margins he was in it was in.

Great talent usage on offense despite only a few top guys. Fixed it.

Buffalo came out strong today, much like Pittsburgh. Really talented team

So many new additions on the team this off-season including an excellent draft. They will go as far as Matt Canada's offense will take them. He really isn't very good.

I'm always impressed with their ability to draft and develop playmakers. I actually think they will win 11-12 games.

Omar Khan had a great first draft. Somewhat concerned with all of the injuries, particularly at CB. Should be an interesting season. AFC North is by far the strongest division

it really is an impressive division. I wouldn't be surprised with any order of finish really
