No doubt about it.. it snowed LOL.. ah well, I'm off tonight.. just have to get to SackDawgs wrestling match tonight. Hopefully all the rookie drivers are home by 4:00 this afternoon..
Man i had no idea it was going to snow this bad....this sukssssssss arse....
I got a final at 7:30pm and i haven't started studying for it! i gotta clean the driveway to get the car out....it actually does look like good 2-3 inches so far and it's still commin down!
Quote: Columbus is 100% unequivocally the most weather-obsessed place i've lived...and they have the least extreme weather...LOL...
Quote of the day. It's ridiculous. The local news people must celebrate every time so much as a drop or flake of anything falls from the sky.
My biggest beef is traffic. Good lord, the second an ounce of precipitation arrives, the average I.Q. just plummets out on the roads. I'd say 90% of the population just doesn't know how to drive right in rain or snow.
I got to work on time today only cause I got up a half hour earlier because of the snow. The rest of the company was up to an hour late.
You C-Bus people just thank God you don't have to deal with lake effect, now thats fun! Here East of Cleveland 3-6 inches is no problem. Shoot, in Chardon which is SE of me a foot is no big deal, just the norm.
Our honor defend, we will fight to the end, for OHIO! GO BUCKS!

No, I wish we had to "deal" with lake effect snow.
I wish it snowed 100+ inches per year, if its gonna be cold, it might as well snow. Columbus is now 40+ days ahead of last years snowfall pace.
But yes, the columbus media does flip out with a 2-4 inch snow event, which is the norm on the,,,,,,

I almost wish I was up there, cause I'm guessing everybody is prepared for snow and knows how to deal with it. That aint the case in C-Bus.
I've been raised right when it comes to snow. My parents grew up in Ashtabula and all my family is there, Madison, Willoughbie (sp?), Strongsville, and Erie, P.A.
i could...but then it gets all messy...and when the snow starts piling up from the street at the start of my driveway it becomes more like 5-6 inches it's a perfect recipie for my car to get stuck
stuck....pop it from drive to reverse and back into drive a few time, hit the gas and bang your our unstuck....
my daughter & I were out at 6:00 am doing a couple brodies (Donuts) in the school parking lot.....LOL....I had to drop her off at her mom this morning so why not......WEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Me and a couple buddies had his parents Ram 4x4 out taking it through the big mounds snow in and acme parking lot. Fun ended when we nailed a shopping cart and busted the runner and tail pipe on the thing. Funny now, not so funny trying to explain it to his rents. We did get some great pics of the creamed cart a couple weeks later when the snow was melted
<< I'm no mechanic but I bet you can get that car thru 2-3 inchs of snow if your carefull....... >>
LMAO - good grief, I guess the poor guy has a Flintstone car; has to peddle with his feet. That would be the only reason why 2-3 inches of snow would prevent him from getting out the driveway. No offense to that guy, but c'mon already.

Isn't it weird how objects suddenly appear out of nowhere?
There you are, just you and your vehicle, and an empty parking lot with a fresh coating of snow. Then BOOM, suddenly they appear, as if they just fell from the sky.
The thing I hate about snow is shoveling the driveway. I'm trying to get motivated to do it before it gets colder and freezes the top layer of snow. Bah! We got right around 5" in Xenia.
LOL.....Thats great.....Lesson learned...Never, Never attach anything to the bumper....there fiberglass..they wont hold, if anything attach to the frame....Wonder if insurance covered that....LOL
Wed. a.m. I left for columbus at 4:45 am. What is normally a 2 hour 45 min drive took 6 hours cause of all the accidents stopping traffic on 23 just south of delaware, and then on 270, and 71.
Check out this video. This was last year in Portland when we got hit with some snow and ice. The Californians up here have NO idea how to handle this stuff nor the common sence to stay home. They think their Volvo's can handle anything.
This video was shot in the West HIlls area of town. Yuppies with degrees but no brains in their heads.
