I might as well follow my "tradition" of posting this late, just before game day, but I didn't get the cap until Weds., had the holiday and then learned that the mp4 codec sucks.
You surpass yourself with each one. When you played "Shout!" for Cribbs return setting up the tying field goal, dragging the entire Rats coverage unit with him, I nearly got choked up.

I love these guys.
I have to admit that this vid is my favorite. It's funny how the process works. Sometimes it's something Donovan says:
Seattle - The "convoy" theme that turns into an over the top tribute to Marty Sullivan
Sometimes it's an add where I think, "I need to do something with that":
Bengals - The Bill Parcells Coors ad. The best part was when I was sitting at the computer thinking, "what am I going to do with Bigfoot"...LMAO
Ravens (week 4) - The Halo "Believe" ad. If this isn't a believe year! I love the "Believeland" sign / slogan that someone came up with. These guys are just plain fun to watch. I've been looking for / contemplating a moniker for our team. The only one I can think of is "KK2". It means Kardiac Kids 2 and is a play off of K2, but it's not original and, quite frankly, to close to KKK for my comfort.
This installment simply fell into place. As I was sitting at the computer last week watching that remarkable game and chatting here at dawgtalk, Bluto's "was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor" hit me. With the victory, that inspiration led me to include "Shout" with some of the game vid. The Peanuts parody came from thinking of the theme song while the officials discussed Phil's fateful field goal. With that notion I remembered the classic strip where Lucy pulls the ball from Charlie. How many times have we felt like ol Chuck? Again, with the outcome I had to hack Mr. Schulz's work. I hope he doesn't mind - God bless his soul.
The "Shout" bit got me too, ddubia. As I reveiwed the vid, I thought of the song at the stadium. Quite frankly I think it may be an appropriate theme song this year.
Thanks for the compliments everyone. I obviously enjoy doing this.
GO BROWNIES
Note: As I typed this I happen to check youtube and they're down. That doesn't happen too often.
