Matchup The best rivalry in football in 3 hours! Chad Henne QB Ques Sat - Shoulder - 11/12/07 He re-aggravated his shoulder injury in Week 11 against Wisconsin. He will be a game time decision Saturday against Ohio State. Mike Hart RB Ques Sat - Ankle - 11/12/07 Despite reports saying he was only held out of Week 11 against Wisconsin to prepare for Saturday's game against Ohio State; he is still bothered by his sprained ankle and will be a game time decision. web page National title game: Dominoes could fall OSU's way Saturday, November 17, 2007 3:50 AM By Ray Stein THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH Conventional wisdom strongly suggests that Ohio State's national championship dream took its final breath about 6:25 p.m. last Saturday, when Juice Williams converted a key third down for about the 20th time that day. But has the patient really breathed his last? Perhaps not. Oregon's loss at Arizona on Thursday night was the first of what the Buckeyes hope will be many doors to pop open that would allow them to play in New Orleans on Jan. 7. But the Ducks' loss is not the only one OSU needs to entertain the possibility. Here's a brief look at the teams ahead of Ohio State in the Bowl Championship Series rankings, and their roads ahead: No. 1 LSU • Remaining schedule: Today at Mississippi; Nov. 23, vs. Arkansas; Dec. 1, SEC championship (in Atlanta) • Chance the Tigers will tumble: 20 percent. The meat-grinder portion of LSU's schedule (Florida-Kentucky-Auburn-Alabama) is past, but Les Miles behind the wheel of any vehicle means the possibility exists for a stall, or a crash. No. 3 Kansas • Remaining schedule: Today vs. Iowa State; Nov. 24, vs. Missouri (in Kansas City, Mo.); Dec. 1, Big 12 championship (in San Antonio; tentative) • Chance the Jayhawks will be grounded: 60 percent, at least. Kansas has had a slate as soft as a baby's ear. If Mizzou somehow doesn't bag the Jayhawks, the Sooners will lower the boom. No. 4 Oklahoma • Remaining schedule: Tonight at Texas Tech; Nov. 24, vs. Oklahoma State; Dec. 1, Big 12 championship (in San Antonio; tentative) • Chance the Sooners go later: 15 percent. The big test might be tonight; if it's rocking in Lubbock, as it was in Boulder in late September, Oklahoma could be over and out. If not, a Sooners loss would be a big upset. No. 5 Missouri • Remaining schedule: Today at Kansas State; Nov. 24, vs. Missouri (in Kansas City, Mo.); Dec. 1, Big 12 championship (in San Antonio; tentative) • Chance the Tigers are tamed: 40 percent. Ohio State fans can imagine a scenario in which Missouri and Kansas each lose once, then the North Division winner beats Oklahoma in the Big 12 title game. No. 6 West Virginia • Remaining schedule: Tonight at Cincinnati; Nov. 24 vs. Connecticut; Dec. 1 vs. Pittsburgh • Chance the Mountaineers shoot themselves in the foot: 25 percent. UC and UConn are among the top teams in the Big East standings, which means absolutely nothing in that wacky conference. WVU will be tough to beat. rstein@dispatch.com

My first final was almost too easy. My second one's the long one at 12:30 I'm gonna race through that and hopefully be done by the start of the second half. I've heard rumors that Henne's gonna suit up, but he's so bad off that one hit and he's done for. GO BUCKS!

No idea about Henne and Hart... I think Hart is healthier than henne though - man you need to get DVR or Tivo!
Good luck on your final.

Good luck, Ammo.
I'm not even a Buckeyes fan, but I love watching this game every year. I hope Hart/Henne play, it'll make the game better.

From the Dead Schlembecker's website: " Striking a crushing blow for the Buckeyes Nation, the band played a daring three song set in Ann Arbor, MI right outside of Michigan Stadium shortly after 3:30am this morning! The entire show lasted just over a minute and a half. In what was admittedly a symbolic affair the group rushed out of a car at the corner of McKinley Avenue and South State Street with an acoustic guitar, tambourine and megaphone. Performing as a three piece (Bo Vicious had not arrived from Seattle) the set began with Bo Biafra proclaiming, "We are 'The Best Damn Punk Band in the Land' and Michigan Stadium is a pile of [crap]!" They then launched into an abbreviated version of "Michigan Stadium is A Pile of [crap]" followed by "M Means Moron" and closed out with their seminal hit "I Hate Michigan." They then ran for their lives. More details to come."

Yeah Henne is in bad shape, I cant see him lasting very long, Hart is also still hurting but I think he plays the whole game unless he cant walk. He wants this more than anyone.

I guess it's too much to ask a UM alum/fan to be smart enough to read the words "screw blue"

Nope, read it fine. I just wouldn't be caught dead sporting some scarlet and gray with a Buckeye logo. Would never happen.

Would this scenario work? LSU and WV both lose and Kansas wins out? (includes wins over missouri and Oklahoma)

If OSU wins today then need 5 teams ahead of them to lose... doesn't matter which teams they are... just need 5 to lose... because even if Kansas only loses one they will fall behind us if we win. Just the way football works.
I don't see us jumping anyone unless we win today by 40 which won't happen.
Gotta win today though. I'm not worried abou the national championship game. RIght now I just want to Beat Michigan, Win Big Ten, and prepare for the Rose Bowl.

Word is Henne will play. He apparently took several shots in the shoulder. Not sure if it's the best career move but he sure gives us a much better chance to win if he can throw.
As for Hart, there have been rumors leaking out that he re-injured his ankle in practice but I'm not sure how true they are. A friend from UM said they saw him on crutches thursday. Just turned on college gameday and havn't seen an update. Have they said anything about him?

Jay, as I pointed out to someone else I think you'll need 6. Arizona State plays #11 USC today and if they win, it's probably going to push them ahead of OSU. Their computer average and SOS are better the OSU's and I believe voters will push an 11-1 Pac-10 champ ahead of an 11-1 Big Ten champ. JMHO.

damn right he is... he has said he would have gone to Ohio State to play basketball if he had gone to college, Tressel has also said that he talked to LeBron about playing football at OSU, plus the basketball team wears jerseys, with the LeBron logo on it, the only school in the country to do so

Do you think Beanie Wells will be available with the 32nd overall pick in the draft?

I wanted Jake Long after last year but I have to say, he has been getting OWNED by our D-Line all day... He gave up two sacks already...
Is Maurice Wells hurt today? I saw them throw Sain in to spell Beanie but have yet to see Maurice...

Is it ok for a married, pregnant woman in her 30's to want to have the love child for both Beanie Wells and Vernon Gholston? LOVED the O-H-I-O chat there at the end around the Stadium! Good game!

He is in the backfield on every play, even Jake Long and Justin Boren have no answer for him. We'll be luck if he stays next year.
