Okay, I have been made into a fan about now. ..All I need to see is a "complete Implosion" of the Ravens or just another division loss and Billick's still in the job, nevertheless, I am convinced, along with MANY of my fellow co-workers, Postal by the way, that the Browns are now the team of the future. ..So what's a brother to do, Ebay or Amazon for the Jerseys??

Both are safe bets. Just look around and whichever has the lower price. Amazon does offer free shipping on most items over $25 I believe.

Welcome to the good side.

Well I guess your name says it all doesn't it ?? I don't think that anyone is going to follow you with a name like "Erik in Hell" so stop hating and start appreciating the fact that people are trying to get on instead of jumping off..Oh, by the way, nice name considering your probably old enough to be my child so let's treat our elders with a little respect OK!!!

Welcome to the good side of the force Luke ,,,,er, I mean Mike

Now I know you and I have had differences over Modell,,, and I hope you won't hold my hatrid and disgust for the man against me.. I'm clearly not holding anything against you personally by the way..

but if you want the real stuff,,, the real gear, you may want to check out this:

http://www.clevelandbrownsteamshop.com/

It's a little more expensive than what you will find else where, but it's the real article...

I personally am hoping for the leather jacket for Christmas..... we'll see.

I wouldn't hold anything against anyone here with regards to the " of 1996" and I would'nt take any of your opinions personal because they are YOUR OPINIONS !!!! Thanks for the input on the jerseys (even if I am a jumper or not Erik) at least I feel more appreciated by the real posters here than any other board I have visited. ..Thanks guys.....

You're over 60, right? I picked the name when I lived in MD, shortly after you hypocrites got their "new" team. As my football coverage was usually pitt or balt, I picked that name. You're still a bandwagon fan, a turncoat, and a hypocrite, and I personally wouldn't want you as a Browns fan. I have no time for people who aren't dedicated.

Why don't you go root for the pats? They're undefeated still.

Oh, you still have the word "raven" in your profile. Nice job, bandwagoner.

You might want to see if he stays if the Browns happen upon misfortune again, before you welcome him so openly and completely.

..I think he's had a warm place in his heart for the Browns for a while now,...can't say that I blame him

I don't think the Browns are nearly good enough yet for the FAKE bandwagoners.

I could care less if someone cheers for the Browns or not... they are my team and that's all that matters... I can't control if someone else cheers for them or not.

Any time a team starts to win you'll have more fans jumping on the bandwagon. It's inevitable....

If he wants to stay a Browns fan, great, but I have my doubts. Anyone that was part of a fan base that cried for a team for 13 years, then leaves when the going first gets tough is going to get a lot of doubt from me.

I completely understand the draw of the Browns mistique, as I am not from Cleveland or even Ohio. I did most of my growing up in MD and VA, and picked the Browns to be my team because of those certain properties of the team that keeps the fans, no matter the record. (that, and I loved the hype of the Cleveland/pittsburg games every year on my local stations)

Hey Erik,
Since when have the Ravens been a "winning team for the last four (4) years HUH? Last year perhaps? 6-10 the year prior? I could have jumped ship the first two (2) years in but I stuck it out, it was wasted last year when they went one and done against the Colts at 13-3 ok? Like I said earlier if you don't like my "coming over" TOUGH...

Are you gonna stay a Browns fan if the Rats start doing better? Actually, you have always been a Browns fan, just from old to new Technically speaking. Though the Ravens are not the old Browns now 11 years later.

Both are equally as good, but personally I have never bought one online. I have gotten all of mine locally b/c I am in Cleveland.

GO BROWNS!

I'm going to pimp the seller I bought my ND jersey from on ebay, Jadgangjerseys. They sell most jerseys with a best offer option. I subtracted the price of shipping from my offer and won it. Search stores for them and take a look, you might like what you see. Welcome aboard.

I never understood this mystique around being a "diehard" fan, or being a truer fan than anybody else. Its a popular sentiment around here, and I have no clue what its about. Why do I care how long someone has rooted for the team, or how hard they cheer? It makes no matter to me. For some reason, people like flaunting how "great" of a fan they are, and, frankly, I don't care either way.

You must have missed the earlier conversation. This was not about diehard or truer fans, this was about bandwagoners. Would you abandon your team if they were losing or became old? That is what this guy is doing. If he stays a Browns fan, more power to him, but I doubt his willingness to stay a fan.

Would I stop rooting for a team? No. When the Browns are bad do I invest a little less time in them than I do otherwise? Yeah. If he wants to be a Browns fan, more power to him. If he wants to go back to the Ravens later I'll wish him (poor) luck. I don't honestly care which way he, or anybody else, roots. It doesn't effect me either way.

To you Erik and ANYONE else here who "doubt's" my reasons for wanting to be a part of a fanbase that I have been following for years, answer me this one question;

If I am so much of a "bandwagoneer", than where are the rest of the "jumpers" who left their respective losing teams this year for the Browns? count them up for me now because I don't appreciate being called out like this..The only saving grace that many of you have who are calling me out now is distance and a PC....That's all. I don't need to be on the computer to make friends with anyone who doesn't want to make other's welcome here! You know what, to those who know me, and it's a great many of you, I have never been shady, shifty or even hostile to others and I don't intend on being this way with anyone especially the "gentleman" who has in issue about where my "heart or loyalty" lies. If that was the case ERIK, I would be over here ridiculing and blasting the fans of this team but I have not done so, SHOW me where I have been deceptive with the Browns and please tell ME, since you know everything about me ERIK, where my loyalties are since I have been on this board....

And in all actuality, I don't think that I have to explain myself to YOU or ANYONE on this BOARD.......

I think its a weak move, not that you give a crap but I would respect you if you stuck with your team (even if it is the Ravens). I know I sure as hell wouldnt high five you during a Browns TD. JMO.

I gotcha man.

I'm still being followed by 2119 over what i said about the Indians in '06. yet somehow that translates to the Browns (which it doesn't cuz the Browns are on a much higher pedestal than any other Cleveland team IMO even though I love them all).

So it's wrong to have secondary teams??? Teams that are second rate to your first team? Even though I'm rocking a Winslow jersey, Browns hat, and a Browns towel right now as I'm about to go terrorize Steelers fans tonight, I'm not a "real fan?"

Please...

I can't accept you as a Browns fan. Nobody should.
Yeah, you spend some time on this board. Great.
Big Ravens fan when they were doing well, now not so good.

Hey, the Browns are doing pretty well, in the media and such. Let's abandon ship.

I don't accept this.
As soon as the Ravens are winning again and the Browns start losing, it will change again.

I LOVE the Browns no matter the record, games etc. I wear my colors even after a blowout loss. They are my team. I was born in '73 and am still a hardcore fan now. My earliest memories of being a Browns fan was 4 years old. I never wavered, even through all the bad times.
I don't see how you say you can be a fan, then jump ship when things aren't going so well. I can't accept you into the fanbase of true Cleveland Browns fans. Sorry.
