It has been a few weeks since I posted any clips of the boy. So, here goes...



1) The boy gets in a decent stance. He takes on the blocker. He sheds the block and makes the tackle. Yes, he is way to high. We are working on it.

2) He is on offense. His first responsibility is to take the LB, then move to the safety. The LB engages the RT, so the boy moves to the second level to find the safety.

3) The boy reels off a 25 yard run.

His team won in double overtime to advance to the third round of the playoffs.

Holy Cow!!!! Now THAT was a block!!! Nice one.

Is the safety eating solid food yet

The good thing is... kids this age bounce. They can take those shots and pop right back up.

If I took a shot like that... I would need medical assistance.

LOL....we'd still be laying there

My son just completed his first year of tackle ball ( 12 year old 6th grader). I was most impressed by the way some of the smaller kids hit. They build up so much momentum before they hit you can really hear the pads pop.

Now that is exectution.


Taking the ball for the right of the formation and going left is almost misdirection at that age. Nice run.
