The scope of the Cuomo investigation was limited to an investigation of the activities.
The information will be turned over to state or federal authorities to proceed with charges.
The NY AG is believed to have interest in running for governor. A potential conflict. They set up the investigation separately and she was not part of the investigation or report preparation, but obviously (and probably improperly) spoke about it at the press conference. She should have just let the investigators speak.
Those were the rules for the investigations. Charges could not be filed by the NY AG as the authority to do so was not provided by the legislature.

Seriously, anyone who voted for Trump has no standing to call out anybody for sexual assault. There has been ZERO accountability called for his behavior by any conservative, most of whom still consider him to be president.

I think it's more... why are there so many creeps in politics..... Right, left, middle.... doesn't matter... a creep is a creep.... Dawg- we're just at the tip of the iceberg, when it comes to uncovering Creeps. They are everywhere. In every profession. Recently, a number of high-profile stars in my field of work were exposed after years of Creeping. Some were pillars of the community... the high-powered movers & shakers. DOOOWN they went. I'm (surprisingly) okay with it. It's cool that they did this great stuff for My Profession. It's cool that I can appreciate how they raised the bar for The Craft. It's also cool that their years of bullying, victimizing and covert abuse was exposed. Because for every one of those Dudes/Dudettes who abused their status as a power broker in The Profession, there was any number of other Dudes/Dudettes who could have made similar contributions... without all the smut and controversy. A Creep is a Creep. And positions of power tend to expose Creeps because of their own hubris. But Dawg- it ain't just politicians. Trust me.

I think it's more... why are there so many creeps in politics..... Right, left, middle.... doesn't matter... a creep is a creep.... I'd ponder that the modern day politician's desire for power correlates to the sexual abuse, which also correlates to rampant desires for power, control, ego, etc.
