What a season .. stings today, but we’re on the right track finally. Great season
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Love my Dawgs!
Thank you, Cleveland Browns. A fun season, making the playoffs, beating Pittsburgh, giving KC a tough game..... we had a lot of victory Mondays this season!

The best season since the return. We have our coach now. We have our quarterback now. We have one HELL of a running back room. We have lots of pieces. We just need to build on what happened this season. The future is bright. Finally. Stefanski and the rest of the staff did an excellent job this year. I think he should be in contention for coach of the year. New staff... new systems... no offseason workouts, very little camp, and no preseason games? I would have been THRILLED with seven wins. Boy did they overachieve! To not only go to the playoffs but to beat the Steelers at home and knock them out? Then to take the defending champs down to the wire like this? The Browns are BACK. No one will be looking at us as doormats any longer. Now the ball is in Andrew Berry's hands. As long as he drafts well and gets us the FA's we need we are looking GOOD! Thank you Browns!!! Can't wait for next season!

J/C. These dawgs had fight ALL year. Considering the Wild circumstances surrounding our team, they were fantastic. I believe we have found a Head Coach and Franchise QB. We have a lot of pieces of the the puzzle in house which isn’t something we have been able to say in a very long time. Great Season, can’t wait for the draft, maybe I will trek to Cleveland to see it in person (pending COVID of course)

We beat 4 playoffs teams this year.
Washing, indy, Tennessee, and Pittsburgh.
And then we went TO Pittsburgh without our HC and some starters and put a beat down on them to get to a divisional playoff game.
I’m so proud of our team this season. I really hope it’s a sign of things to come, but I’m just thankful we finally a had something to cheer for!!

I really thought 8-8 or possibly 9-76 would be our absolute best. Losing today stinks, but this year really helped me deal with the crazy Covid stuff. Cant wait for pre-season!

Thank you for commanding respect again. Today I really felt like we could play toe to toe with them AND win! Didn't happen, but mighty close. No lead is safe with this D as called and played. Draft some tacklers, some folks who catch, we are there.
Think we played over our heads this year at times; and we played less well at others. But we met and then exceeded my expectations. It was fun. Let's do it again soon.

I don't think I have ever shared anything personal on here but here goes.
This year I will be 62 the Browns have been bad for so long, I have said for what seems like forever I want to see the Browns lift the Trophy before I die, that and see my girls out of college.
Until a very close friend and golfing buddy here in Pa. came down with Covid-19 about 3 weeks ago. He has been on a ventilator now for 13 days. I have been so worried about him and his family and all that you can imagine about what that is like for everyone.
I prayed today for my friend to regain his life and I made a deal if I had to see my Browns lose but could see my friend again healthy I would take that deal. I know you can't make deals like that but you sure can take a lesson from it.
We had a great year this year, enjoy every moment because NOTHING is guaranteed. LOVE MY BROWNS

I agree. This Browns season was the most enjoyable one since I was a much younger man. I was disappointed but not nearly as MAD as I thought I would be if we lost. We lost to a better team, and we still had chances to make a play to win it, we just didn't make the play.
I'm looking forward to an off-season where the focus is, how do we get to the next level... rather than how do we just get out of the cellar.

This year has been the remedy to the funk that was 2020.
Surpassed every expectation I had for them and then some. My uncle who lives in california, my cousin who lives in ohio and me who lives in colorado. Have our own chat group that we sit and communicate with about Browns and stuff. And it's been a lovely chat group this year.
I knew Baker was the guy coming into this season, but I didn't know how much Stefanski would rub off on to the kid. IMO they're going to be one of those dynamic duos for years to come. Like how Reid is to Mahommes, or how Dungy was to Peyton. Both of them just have this no quit attitude. THe kid is fricken smart too.
You literally saw progression as the season went on. His reads got better. It's amazing how wide open some of our guys were all season. Completely befuddled compared to years past.
Just need to find our "Baker" on the other side of the ball to run things and I think things come together IMO (as long as people stay healthy)
....
A brief look at next season has us playing the AFC West and the NFC North.... Lots of good stories there. A Chiefs rematch, a Stefanski reuinion.
12-4 / 11-5 is easily repeatable. #wewantmore

It hurts to lose like that.
However, what a ride we had this year. It was great fun to be playing in January. We came so far as a team.
All this team overcame this year speaks volumes of the character this team possess.
We have many pieces in place. And I am confident that we will continue to build a championship quality team.
I will be counting the days till next season.

It's amazing... I've never seen so much outpour from the team on twitter or.. anywhere else from any past seasons. This season was special.
There's a lot of guys who all believe in the system, believe in each other.
I truly believe this to be the start of something special.

If in August, you would have asked me if the season would go on, I'd have questioned that. If at anytime during the off season, had you had told me that we'd go 11-5, I'd have called you crazy. Yet, here we are. I love this team.. I love out QB, I love our Oline and I love our RB's. I think we have a workable D where we are a few pieces away. Oh, did I mention the coaching staff led by Stefanski? Well, I think we found the perfect match for us as a HC. No Drama,, Just work towards a common goal... Great Job Browns.....

A year ago I asked for one thing...JUST WIN.
Stefanski and his staff not only delivered, they far exceeded my expectations by making the playoffs...
...and for that, I THANK MY CLEVELAND BROWNS.

I've been begging for .500 football from this team for forever. So this year was nothing short of a dream, and I think it showed even on this board...There was a lot less negativity than our norm.
Kudos to the whole team, I feel confident in Baker...something I wasn't at the start of the year. It is nice knowing we have the foundation set aside and plenty of wiggle and cap to improve as well.
While I have no way of proving this and it's a mere theory. I do not see the NFL cap being reduced. I think when it's all said and done, the NFL probably has smartly set aside fund(s) if anything like this was to occur. I mean they gross billions of dollars. It probably will be the first year the cap isn't increased, however I truly see them coming together and keeping it the same set amount as this past year.
Even if we make a couple big splashes in FA, we can afford that luxury. Many successful teams have been set near the cap year in and year out. They smartly rework contracts, make according cuts, draft their voids, etc.
This should be the best off-season we've had since 99!!

I copied and pasted this from the Post Game Thoughts thread as I thought it would be just as appropriate here.... Would I have liked to have seen our season end in a SB victory? Of course I would have. And we were given the opportunity to move one step closer when Mahomes went down. So to say there isn't a bit of disappointment in the fact we couldn't take advantage of the situation would not be genuine. But I try to keep things in perspective. Sometimes with the emotions involved in sports, and especially with my life long love of the Browns that can be hard to do. Not only for myself, but obviously from reading this thread, many others like me. But the fact of the matter is this team has come a very long way in a very short period of time. I think that expecting a team to go from a 6-10 record last season to winning the SB this season would be an unrealistic expectation. I could break this down to the no call in the helmet to helmet hit. I could break it down to how certain players performed or didn't perform as the case may be. I could complain about Chubb dropping those passes. Yes I could. But I'm not going to. I think you get the point. Instead I'm going to enjoy knowing that this was season one with Stefanski at the helm. I'm going to look at how far we've come in a single season. I'm going to celebrate the maturity, development and progress Baker has made. I'm going to understand that you can't rebuild a team to fit your scheme in a single off season. I know that much progress has been made and more issues will be addressed during this off season. I've sat back and watched too many frustrating and losing seasons to let this moment pass me by without enjoyment and a smile on my face seeing the accomplishments this team has made. As a life long Browns fan I think I've earned that much. I have a reason to look forward and not look back. And that's damned sure what I'm going to do. I've been on one version of Dawg Talk/Dawgtalkers since 1999. For those who have been along for the ride everyone pretty much knows I'm not rah rah guy just to go with the flow. I'm not a guy who tries to put lipstick on a pig. When it comes to our Browns, if we're stinking up the field I'll say so. And sadly I've had to say so for far too long. But not today. Not for most of this season. And not during this off season. I have every reason to be happy, to be optimistic and to look forward to the future of our team. So you'll see no negativity from me today. As my wife would say.... "Not today Satan! Not today!" GO BROWNS!
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.
