https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.foxnews.com/entertainment/comic-actor-fred-willard-dead.ampComic actor Fred Willard has died at the age of 86. The beloved star with several acting credits -- including "Best in Show," "This is Spinal Tap" and "Everybody Loves Raymond" -- died of natural causes, his daughter confirmed to Fox News. "My father passed away very peacefully last night at the fantastic age of 86 years old. He kept moving, working and making us happy until the very end. We loved him so very much!" his daughter Hope told Fox News in a statement on Saturday. "We will miss him forever."

Sad when these are continually happening, Little Richard, Jerry Stiller, now This. Funny Character stuff. Humor is an undercelebrated artform.

He was a Cleveland guy, born and raised in Shaker Hts. As accomplished and talented as he was in any number of comedic roles, the role I remember most is the one he played in the 1979 miniseries adaptation of Stephen King's novel "Salems Lot". Rolling Stone called him "master of the 'mockumentary' genre". https://www.rollingstone.com/movies/movie-news/fred-willard-best-in-show-actor-dead-obit-1000942/Job well done and God speed, Mr Willard.

Humor is an undercelebrated artform. *Sitting here naked wearing nothing but a red nose, and giant floppy shoes, with a beer in one hand, and a noice maker in the other* Some of us still celebrate it

RIP, Funny man. Hard pressed not to recognize him, and remember him in a number of different shows. Making bit parts comedic is another level of genius.
You made us laugh. That is its own blessing.
