Not sure if the correct forum.
I was emailed that my number is up for Season Tickets and the Browns are to call me within 48 hours to finalize.
Anyone know if they have stated anything about refunds or future credit if games are missed due to Covid-19?
The Rams and Broncos announced they would either refund or give future credit to the next season, was just curious if anyone heard anything.

I don't think they've said anything official. I asked my rep a few weeks ago and he was of the "we'll cross that bridge when we have to" opinion.
It would be b.s. if they gave future credit. Don't need the Browns holding my cash hostage.

If you purchase, go ahead and proceed like you wouldn't be getting that money back. Best believe owners have a team of lawyers working through the small fine print. It'll likely be passed as a credit to the following season, or no refund at all.

0% chance of that happening to any STH in the NFL, please. No team is keeping your cash for a canceled game. They may push it to next year, but I'd imagine all 32 teams will give the STH the option.

Given the state of affairs with Covid - I'm guessing that anyone who objects to the credit and demands a refund will get it.

I have season tickets to both the Indians and Browns. I assume they'll sit on the money, collect interest and if push comes to shove, offer STH the option of rolling over to the following season.
Businesses don't like parting with cash. It will be interesting to see how this all plays out.

It's also possible (probable) they have insurance policies in place to pay off in case of loss of revenue due to refunding ticket sales. They don't want to face a class-action suit

My Indians ticket rep sent me an email with fun baseball movies to watch during the stay-at-home order.
The Indians (as of right now) are one of eight teams that have not agreed to pay their team employees through May 31st.

Well, I've heard I can participate in some Tribe Trivia and that they started an inspriational soical media account! They have not updated any news regarding tickets since March 17th when they said to hang on to your tickets while the season is postponed. I imagine this is the same response from all MLB teams regarding season tickets.

I talked to my ticket rep today (I am next on the list to get seats and I have until Friday to decide).
He stated as of now the Browns are operating as there will be a normal season.
He stated that if any games are played this year without fans, those games would be refunded to STH.
He stated if the season is cancelled or played without fans, then STH have the option to get a refund, or have the full ST amount credited for 2021.
He said they have seats in the 500, 300, and club.

The Rams and Broncos announced they would either refund or give future credit to the next season, was just curious if anyone heard anything. Nothing I have heard. At minimum you will get a credit for next season. That is what they do in the event you have to purchase playoff tickets and the Browns don't get in or host a game. You have to buy in to those around week 13 or so. Only had to do it once.....now that I think of it, I could have gotten a refund. I chose to take a credit towards the following season. I suspect you/we will have the same option, but that is just based on past experience. At my age, I might just take the cash back if allowed. Corona virus be dammed, I am at the age where I can kick due to normal things. It's not like I am going up a ladder and fall off the roof cleaning gutters. I pay people so do that stuff.
If everybody had like minds, we would never learn. GM Strong
