I did not delete the thread but from another discussion in the admin forum I believe your's was deleted due to there not being a link or credit given to the cut and paste you used. Another thread about Chad Johnson was also removed for this reason.

I deleted it, and there was no link.
It began with the power ranking blurb for the Browns and then it had the blurb for the Bengals. Had there been a link, I wouldn't have deleted it.
I did not miss it; it was not present within the post whatsoever.

it absolutley did begin with the link because I made it a point to go to the same website and power rankings that med mann used so he didn't have an excuse that it was the worng link or what ever excuses bengals fan use to dictate their sorry team as a matter of fact you would have seen that I had to edit it because somehow I missed a number in the browns stats that I had to go back and correct and used the link to go back to get the number

How about members familiarizing themselves with the rules so that "these so called mistakes" don't happen.
Refs are volunteers. Can you imagine if for every action they must also send a PM? Sending a PM probably takes more time than the action itself.
Following the rules eliminates all of that.

However in this instance... the rules WERE followed. That being said, whats your solution to that?

Nothing. If indeed the link was there and the ref missed it, nothing can be done. Mistakes happen.
What do you think should be done? Maybe a public flogging?

How 'bout a Ref just says, "Hey...I must have missed it. I'm sorry"?? Clearly the link was there if another poster used it.
Refs are allowed to be human and make mistakes, too.
