entertaining game...a lot of speed on the field haha.
I'm hoping USF can hang on and pull it off
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

WVU will be ok. I think they'll be able to grind a win out. The USF QB keeps throwing INT's.

maybe if he manned up and put something behind his throws...
usf is pretty damn good, their defense is exceptional, if i were usf, i'd just run the ball on every play and let the defense take care of the rest, cause that quarterback could kill this team's chances tonight

Outside of OSU and LSU, I think USF has *from what I've seen* the best Defense in the NCAA. It's actually a lot of fun to watch.
you had a good run Hank.

It may sound crazy but USF is really starting to look like a contender for a good bowl game. Maybe if their lucky dare I say....BCS bowl game?

I'm a Buckeyes fan at heart, and will always be, but USF has really grown on me ever since I moved to Florida...especially since they play the majority or if not all of there games right across the bay from me.

Wow, what a clutch QB scramble............
No matter the outcome of this game, USF has come a long way in a short time.

Dang, was I wrong.
I didn't know that the WVU QB was out for the 2nd half. Oh well.

Take it from an ex-West Virginian who was at the game tonight.....USF was the better team tonight. The heat and humidity was up there with the temp at 87 degrees at 11:30 PM.
While USF played one helluva game and dominated the WV offense...which I never would have believed possible, something besides an azzkicking was going on.If you'd add the number of dropped snaps to the Mountaineers 2 QBs add the interceptions thrown to USF and add also the fumbles[ whether recovered or lost] together it must have approached 15! 15!!!!
The USF crowd was as loud as any I have ever been around. The Tampa stadium was rocking like the Super Bowl was being played and the Florida hotties were out in full force.
All in all a terrific win for USF football and Tampa in general.

Congrats to the Bulls but they don't have the best team or best D in the Big East. No, that team will be rolling into South Florida on Nov 7... it's the CINCINNATI BEARCATS! They have possibly the fastest D in the country and I'm looking forward to their upcoming games against Rutgers, Louisville, USF, and WVU. It would be nice though if USF emerged as the second place team from the Big East. But UC will be first.
GO BEARCATS!

Nobody would have the that the Big East would be doing so well after Miami and Boston College or Virginia Tech left the conferance for the ACC. I remember there being talk of the Big East losing an automatic BCS bid because of it being a weakr conferance after the defections. Look at Miami now.
Even thought Im a Buckeye and Big Ten fan, I think the Big East is the most fun conferance to watch. If you matched the Big East teams with the Big Ten teams from top to bottom. The Big East might go 8-2 against the Big Ten this year.

Another football factory in the making. Where do these Florida teams find all these SCHOLAR/ATHLETES, while teams like Notre Dame are struggling to find players at all. Something they're growing in the swamps, I guess.

It so cool to see Ray Jay packed to it's fullest. My Mom's job at the mall is right there around the block (International Plaza for TB resident's on here) and she said there were fans packed clear into the last row of the upper deck at Ray Jay.... USF has found a home to play at IMO.

My new theory on this is that there are more damn high schools in Florida (and California, hence PAC-10 success) than there are people in the Northeast. And it seems like there are way more football universities up here that have to fight over recruits. It's a talent pool, numbers cruncher.

strong defense, good tackling, good running game

It is apparant that some of these players come from the Caribbean nations if that means anything.

Last years game against Rutgers was great. USF should have won that game, Grothe played fantastic, only to have a WR drop a wide open ball in the end zone. I lost some good money on USF last year. These guys are no joke.
Eat it Phil...
