Watching Kareem Hunt's presser after AZ game was eye opening. He calls players out for not putting in 110% and for taking plays off. He also dodged the question when asked if Freddie had respect of the locker room. Honestly, Haslam needs to seriously think to himself about the type of team he wants. We have amazing talent, but clearly we are all talk/arrogance and no heart. Sad.
Nick Chubb is literally the best human being and talent currently in a Browns uniform. Thank you Nick for everything you have done. His trip to the 2020 Pro Bowl is well earned.

Agreed. I think us Dawgs focus too much on the talent aspect and not enough on culture, team-first mentality, timing and rhythm (especially on offense), coaching, and so on. You don't win by just out-talenting teams in the NFL - not consistently anyway. This is not college where Ohio State will demolish Rutgers every year because they can recruit much better players across the board.
In the NFL, reverse draft order and the salary cap go a long way toward balancing the talent out across the league. Not saying that it's even across the league but obviously good coaching, player development etc. go a long way toward explaining the consistent success (or failure) of some teams. Otherwise we wouldn't have lost to the injury-decimated Steelers or got shellacked by the 3-9-1 Cardinals (not really a good team by any measure...)

Agreed ... our culture is about the worst in the NFL and it perpetuates itself ... a never ending cycle. Even our #1 overall franchise QB has been changed by it. Look at his “persona” right now during press conferences, his appearance, clothing, etc. He’s almost jaded at this point.
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

But does the culture lead to the losing or does the losing lead to the culture? Constantly changing things makes losing more likely. That makes maintaining a positive culture more difficult. Saying something needs to change is easy. Actually getting that change to happen and then stick is difficult. Trying to change things when hard times come up with decades of futility as a backdrop is extra difficult. Playing the blame game makes it impossible. Freddie's one of the few people not trying to blame someone else.

This happens when there is zero leadership, poor culture and no clearly defined plan on what type of team the Browns want to build.
Dorsey collected talent and hoped his rookie HC with zero leadership experience could figure out how to make them work.
The players (not all, obviously) do not believe in their coaches anymore and are packing it in.
The coaches, week in and week out do not put the players in the best possible situation to succeed. The players understand this and you can see their frustrations play out with them lashing out at Freddie on the sidelines and their comments in the media.
It's mind numbing. It's Groundhog Day.

If they fire Freddie, they better bring in a veteran, well respected head coach ... because anyone else is going to get run over.
Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.
John 14:19 Jesus said: Because I live, you also will live.
