Hello,
I bought a tailgate van last weekend. Inside needs some love, as the carpet is the original blue from 1991. Needless to say, I want to spruce it up a bit.
Anyone know where I can find an orange/brown combination of carpet, or a good place to get orange shag carpet? My brother can surely install it for me, I just have to buy it.
Any advice/ideas/suggestions would be awesome.

I drive by this one place every day that has a sign for NFL carpet, I'll pay closer attention on my way home tonight. I am pretty sure it is for like a college dorm room type stuff. I'll look into it I was kind of curious anyhow.

I work at Home Depot, and they now have carpeting for all NFL teams (as if any others matter) as well as most college teams.

I'm out in So. Cal. The North Upland store. They started carrying it about a month ago.

It pobably is also a arm and a leg to buy. For something as small as a van go get a scrap piece of Orange carpet. You could probably get it for $20.

Exactly, if you're patient you should be able to get a remnant or scraps for almost nothing... of course that would require somebody else to actually be USING orange carpet for something else...

Go to a flooring store and ask if they have any orange rems. Not very likely, but in Ohio so maybe someone ordered some orange carpet at some point.

My brother is installing some dark brown carpet today. Couldn't find any bright orange, and the brown will be easier to keep clean (or should I say will hide the stains better).

Any scraps? Try just a little bit of bleach diluted with water. Will most likely turn brown to orange. At least that's what happen to some of my Browns stuff thanks to my girlfriend.
