I logged in with a temp one sent to me, but when I hit submit on my profile, the it reverts to the old password. (I can tell because it is long). I dont know my old password so this is a problem

When you go to change the password, it should prompt you for the old one (put in that temp password), then the new password, and the new password again as confirmation that you typed what you meant to type.
If the Old Password box equals either your old password or your one-off Temp password, and the two New Password boxes match, then it should change your password successfully.

I haven't tried to change the password, if I can still remember the old one, so far it still works.
