Fifteen open practices for the Browns this summer Josh Alper,ProFootball Talk on NBC Sports Expectations and interest in the Browns are higher than they’ve been in some time and fans will have a lot of chances to check in on the team’s progress during training camp this summer. The Browns announced their slate of practices open to the public for July and August on Thursday and they will be welcoming fans to their facility in Berea, Ohio for 15 of those sessions. Attendance is free for practices running from July 25 through August 21. The team also announced that they’ll be holding their Orange & Brown Scrimmage at FirstEnergy Stadium on Saturday, August 3. There will be a $5 charge for admission to that event with the proceeds benefiting the Cleveland Browns Foundation “Get 2 School” campaign. Browns fans can also see the team practice out of town if they wake up feeling dangerous enough to take a road trip. The Browns will be practicing with the Colts in Indianapolis on August 14 and 15 in sessions that will be open to the public. https://sports.yahoo.com/fifteen-open-practices-browns-summer-182503191.html

Browns training camp begins July 25, includes 15 practices free to public in Berea By Nate Ulrich Beacon Journal/Ohio.com Posted Jun 20, 2019 at 2:56 PM Updated Jun 20, 2019 at 10:15 PM If you want to watch the Browns practice for one of the most highly anticipated seasons in franchise history, set your alarm and don’t get caught snoozing. On Thursday, the Browns revealed training camp will primarily feature morning sessions for the first time since 2015. Under new coach Freddie Kitchens, most practices will run from 10 a.m.-noon. Practices started late in the afternoon the past three years under former coach Hue Jackson. Camp will open July 25 and include 15 practices scheduled to be free to the public at team headquarters in Berea. Online registration is required in advance on ClevelandBrowns.com. All tickets to camp will be accessible through the Browns mobile app. Printed tickets won’t be available. The Orange and Brown Scrimmage will return to FirstEnergy Stadium and run from 4-6 p.m. Aug. 3. Tickets will be $5 per person with net proceeds benefiting the Cleveland Browns Foundation “Get 2 School” campaign, which encourages school attendance. For the first time, camp tickets will be released in two waves. Open registration will begin for the first eight practices at 10. a.m. June 26 and for the remaining sessions at 10 a.m. July 10. Orange and Brown Scrimmage tickets will also be available to the public at 10 a.m. June 26. Season ticket-holders will have a head start with two-day windows to register for each stretch of practices starting June 24 and July 8 as well as for the Orange and Brown Scrimmage on June 24. Fans may register for as many as four practices in Berea — two dates in each registration window — with a maximum of four guests per session. Parties wishing to attend more than four practices or book groups of six or more people are encouraged to call 440-824-3434. The Browns are scheduled to take camp out of town from Aug. 14-16. They’ll hold joint practices with the Indianapolis Colts in Westfield, Ind., before the two teams meet in the second preseason game Aug. 17 at Lucas Oil Stadium. I think going to training camo would be a cool experience. If I lived closer I would probably try to get tickets to a practice or two.

Interesting, the Indianapolis practice will be somewhere along in the preseason schedule. I wonder where. I read more, and see it's just before a preseason game at Indianapolis. On Thursday, the Browns revealed training camp will primarily feature morning sessions for the first time since 2015. Under new coach Freddie Kitchens, most practices will run from 10 a.m.-noon. Practices started late in the afternoon the past three years under former coach Hue Jackson.

Freddie sure putting his mark on club- practicing early...smart, who wants to wait around all day- freshest in morning.
Practicing with Indy at their place- team building, out of your environment- guys should know each other better after those practices and then the game.
Go Browns!!!

Are you planning on overexerting yourself, or daredevilish activities. I don't think team injuries are going to be a problem this year, this year might be a year of destiny, no matter what that destiny may be.
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

I think going to training camo would be a cool experience. If I lived closer I would probably try to get tickets to a practice or two. I've been,, and it's really nice if you can get with some friends like from here. Used to run into GM and Purp and others there., Lots of fun... The Browns used to treat us like we meant something.. Not sure that's the case anymore. But yeah, at one time, it was a blast.

I’d love to know what the thought process was behind there decision to do away with the official board we grew up on .. I can’t remember ... did they close it or switch it to that horrific board ... can’t remember if that was run by the browns or someone else ... That first year .. they had ice cream/slushee machines/ all kinds of deserts ... lunch at the stadium along with a tour ... They sure spoiled us the first couple years ...

They sure did. And yes, they turned it into "Browns Chat" which was horrific. That's when PPE formed this board.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

I enjoyed reading (and posting occasionally) on the original board from about late 2005 until it closed. There was a kid named RavenKiller who was one of the favorites.
I tried "Browns Chat" for awhile (and, I think it was a Browns sponsored thing) - but, it was disappointing.
Finally got back on track with this board. Though things get weird around here sometimes.

Thats what I thought ... i wasn’t sure ... I wonder why they decided to switch it .. sad day ... oh well luckily Purp saved the day ... I believe that "Browns Chat" had less need for direct administration, as many tasks could be automated. It was a simpler board, with fewer options. They promised a lot on that board, like .... "Oh, we'll make the post jumpers work ...." Sure. Finally they just gave the attitude of "Take it or leave it". I was 90% gone from there by that time.

I didn't know if they were actually shutting it down and kept checking back and noticing that your post was still the last post... then the whole thing went *poof*.

I, and others, went back to post links to this board, and to invite people we knew, when we found out that board was dying. I think I made some smart ass comments at the very end.

That Browns Chat was one miserable board. I used to think, thank jeebus we have this place and those losers can stay over there. Then they shut it down and we were flooded with immigrants. We should have built a wall.

Trying to recall back to the time DawgTalkers were recognized by the Browns...at that time, the Browns were owned by Lerner.

I think they shut down the old Browns Chat because the forums were extremely negative and trollish. And they didnt want that on their official site.
But my memory is foggy. I just remember it being a steaming pile of crap.

I ventured briefly into the chat room on the official site, but this place was familiar, and once purp got it happening.... so here we are, almost 13 years later.

Thats what I thought ... i wasn’t sure ... I wonder why they decided to switch it .. sad day ... oh well luckily Purp saved the day ... I remember the Board would go bonkers everytime FA or some trade deal was coming along and they would CLOSE THE BOARD as some posters were super sleuths and creating a stir as some journalists actually would read the board Peter something???
So they would always make some excuse like the board is down for some tweaking or something like that and then 2 weeks later the board would pop up...each time losing more n more interest in the board as posters went somewhere else.
IIRC???

But my memory is foggy. I just remember it being a steaming pile of crap. No doubt that was the reason. If you have an official site, you don't want your message board fans calling your QB a chunk of crap, which I did at least a few times over the years... Things change. I don't blame them. At first it was to unite fans behind the new Browns. Cool. After a few years it became something different and time to shut it down.

I know that there were a few prominent DT posters who didn't drift back home until the official site went down. They came crawling back though, but I won't begrudge them that, cuz this is the best Browns chat site on the interweb.

That is true, and I dont know the details.
Just saying what I saw happen over the course of a couple years, and who was here , and who wasn't.
We clear on that, old man?

I remember reading that the Browns had the best site of any major sports team. Back then .. the teams ran their own sites. Now the sites are pretty much all cookie cutter thru NFL.com. Back then the Browns had message board .. email .. Now it is just stories, rosters.. all bland and cookie cutter
The Cleveland Browns - WE KNOW QUARTERBACKS ( Look at how many we've had ... )

I was on the original DTers when I was in like middle school LOL ... really enjoyed the DT day at training camp and SO WISH we’d get it back, but clearly that is a long shot
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."
