Everyone,
I just want to make it clear, once again, that I AM A BROWNS FAN! I know my name is Orange Crush, but I picked it because the Browns are orange and brown and I wanted to be different. I didn't want to have my name include dawg or anything like that, because everyone elses' did! So yeah I just wanted everyone to know that I AM a huge BROWNS fan...always have been and always will be!!!! My name is not THE Orange Crush that is related to the Broncos...orange crush is for the Browns to me, and I hope you all can see where I am coming from too! **GO BROWNS!**

I was born in the 1980s...sorry that was a little before my time!!! Well that's fine because I despise the Steelers so sorry but maybe Orange Crush was a soda pop before it was referred to as the "Bronco's D"...that's almost as bad as WHO DEY...but ok.

It's time someone gives this to you bluntly:
You really should change your name. You'll always sound like a Bronco using Orange Crush. People still wear Orange Crush Tshirts in Denver. It's not like it's a name that everyone's forgotten about... and now can be used by Brown's fans. No one will EVER equate "Orange Crush" with the Cleveland Browns. It's a name that's a very significant part of another teams history. You can keep explaining yourself over and over, and guess what? Most people are still going to think of the Bronco's when they hear "Orange Crush".
This would be the same as the Ravens calling themselves the Purple People Eaters.

Well I appreciate you telling me something I ALREADY know. But you know what, people's names are their choice and Orange Crush could be something important to me. What does your name stand for? Why don't you ask yourself that before telling me to change my name. Orange Crush is something I happen to like and it does have significance to me. How do you know what it means to me? I could sit here and make fun of your name or someone elses, but I don't.,,and I don't because I have respect for people. How do you know what Orange Crush means to me? I am an individual and I DO NOT follow the crowd...so no, orange crush is not for the Bronco's defense, at least not to me...and that is all that matters.

I was not making fun of your name, I was not trying to sound derogatory, and I meant no disrespect. I was trying to point out that "Orange Crush" will ALWAYS be associated with the Broncos, another NFL team....and I was trying to save you the time and monotony of repeatedly having to explain yourself....which you will have to do continuously if you use that name on any NFL board. You have the right to choose any name you wish. I was trying to save you some headaches. Nothing more. I've already explained my name here, on a thread just for that purpose. It's a play on a now defunct home business....(jfan was already taken on the old board, so I added the ent). Make fun of it all you want. Maybe I'll change it to "Doomsday Defense" or "Monsters of the Midway".

Jfan... to be honest with you, I never knew Orange Crush was for the Bronco's until I posted on this board. So therefore, I did not use this name in reference to the Broncos. I used it simply because orange crush is something I enjoy and it has fond memories of high school. So like I said before, I don't care what other people think about me; I'm not a little weakling. I am a person who says what is on their mind and I don't care if people will give me a hard time about my name because at the end of the day, I KNOW that I am a Browns fan and that people who criticize me are just impolite and not happy with themselves. I am leaving it at that.

I thought of the drink first, until someone made a Bronco's reference in reply to one of your posts, which made me wonder if you were a Bronco's fan. It didn't really matter to me though, an Football fan is a football fan, I can tolerate any teams fans..... Well except the obnoxious Ravens fans.

In all fairness Charlie...your what 23 now ?....I`m 46...and I remebmer those days....But I do not associate that name with the Bronco`s.....that was a long time ago...and screw them...They aint crushing nothing....And OC does`nt need to hear no more about it.......Thats her screen name...and as far as I think...the orange for the browns need to crush Denvers ass....hows that............

Im 39, and I haven't had much time to post lately, but I think of the Broncos when I see Orange Crush. BrownsCrush would be more fitting, but that's just me.
I somewhat equate it to my son's baseball team wearing the Red Sox hat. I have one, cause I coach, but no way would I wear it to work in support of my sons team. The questions I would receive would be endless, because everybody knows I have been a Tribe fan since 77.
Any football fan, that is hardcore, will equate the name to the Broncos. It doesn't mean anything about your fandom, but perception is very difficult to overcome, even when what is perceived is the furthest from the truth.
