Mount Vernon President Doug Bradburn and Regent Sarah Coulson escorted the presidents and first ladies on a tour of the Mansion on April 23, 2018. During the tour, all parties were interested and engaged in the story of George Washington and his beloved home. Conversations touched on topics like business dealings, real estate, and related matters that were of relevance and interest to the touring parties, and questions were asked by both leaders with curiosity and respect. Comments pulled from sources who were not present for the tour do not properly convey the tone and context in which they were delivered.

For more than 200 years, Mount Vernon has welcomed heads of state and world leaders, offering them a place to find inspiration in Washington’s example of servant leadership. I don't presume to blame you. The fault lies in those that write these fake stories. I've been hoping for some time that people would get skeptical of those that lie to them this often, though.

Yeah, hard to believe anyone would believe a word out if Trump's mouth based on the proliferation of lies he has told.

As to the story of Mount Vernon ... I didn't pay any attention to it. Who or where did the story originally get reported?

This must mean you believe the libs that "fact check" Trump. I looked at pitt's 9000 lies page, and I stopped at the first one I know the fact checkers got wrong. That one was about Ralph northam and his post birth abortion press conference. I heard that one live, and he was talking about killing babies after they were born. The fact checkers called Trump's statement false, and what he said was true.

Whether it's 5000 or 3000.... Trump tells a lot of lies,constantly. It started day one with claiming to have the biggest crowds at any inauguration.... Maybe the fact checkers got one wrong. Great that you can dismiss all the others based on what you saw.

Can't ever forget that lie. It completely ruined my way of life in this country and cost me 1000s of dollars a year. It was so much worse than, keep your plan, keep your doctor.

This is the problem with both parties. Both Trump and Hillary did enough stupid crap to hang themselves, yet people still feel a need to make up BS.
Then they use the "well the other stuff is true so it's OK" line of idiotic thinking, like people here are doing. Then you have the media, who in their haste to be first, runs wild with it without checking the truthfulness.
