So the official caps for the draft this year have been announced. I actually kind of like the one for the Browns this year and might have to grab it.

I keep noticing that Freddie and some of the players are sporting the elf. I wish they would incorporate it into the new uniforms. The helmet logo, while sort of iconic, is boring and IMO, just stupid.

Those stars look dumb.

I don't like the cap. What I want is the color rush cap to go with my new Garrett color rush jersey.

FYI, I think the stars are supposed to represent the shape of the State of Ohio flag. Like a pennant. Still sucks.

Can we change our name to the Pumpkinheads at least?

Yeah, the stars are in the same formation as they are on the state flag. The ones to the left represented the original colonies. The four to the right symbolize that Ohio was the 4th state added after the originals.

I mainly liked the solid Brown with the orange under the bill. And the "old school" baseball style. None of the goofy patterned, trucker look, flat brim stuff at least.

(Not endorsing anything on the helmet.) It's not actually an elf, it's a Brownie . Not many folks these days have even heard of Brownies, so the caricature is mistakenly called an elf. But again, I don't want the Brownie on the helmet. If the Browns were to adopt any symbol, the Dawg head is more appropriate in my mind. I like the brownie, but kind of as a local thing on caps and t-shirts.

I prefer flat brim hats so that I can bend them to my taste. Hats with built in curves are often too tightly curved for my preference. They’re locked into that shape often times as the material they’re made from is like a plastic type stuff, not cardboard, that can’t be reshaped easily.... without a heat gun. Which I actually have used on one of my hats to flatten the bill more.

Not a fan, but then again, I'm don't remember ever liking the yearly draft hat.

I did recently get one of those 47brand elf logo franchise hats. I like it a lot.

I have one of the Brownie hats too. I want one in white, but I can't find them for sale (except for a Chinese knock-off site). I've found a couple websites that have the image of them, but when I go there, they are no longer available.

I think they are only available to members of the Browns organization, Dorsey wears one, and I've seen both Freddie and Baker wearing them too.

God I hate the Brownie. It might be the softest mascot on the face of the planet.

Not on the Helmet. I love the Helmet untouched. I just don't like it as a logo. I liked to see the elf on the top front of the pants like where the pocket would be. Just one. Or on the sleeve over the stripes
