Ok, I want to hear from Tabber, Bone, etc. on this topic now that we have some idea of what this offense is going to line up like with our def going into this year.
In the NFL its all about matchups. Who can you line up to put you in a position to get open and make a play.
Right now, you have Baker under Center, with Hunt and Chubb in the backfield, Odell and Jarvis, with AC/Higgins, and Njoku/Harris.
You stack the box, you leave 1 on 1 with two of the surest hands in the NFL, and one of the biggest play guys in the NFL.
You drop 5 or even more into coverage, you have Chubb and Hunt who are going to run through you like a mack truck.
WE are going to score some points ladies and gents.
THEN, when we score and get up on teams, you have Vernon, Myles, Richardson, Larry coming strong at you pinning their ears back rushing that passer. We are going to get hits on the QB, and sacks o-plenty. We all know these kids are BALL HAWKS too, we are going to give Baker and Co. plenty of opportunity to score.
I don't see a team right now ON PAPER that presents more mismatches for a defense. And I honestly think we might have the best front 4 in AFC. I cannot think of one better outside the RAMS in the NFL.
I also want to add that we know FREDDIE is amazing at creating those mismatches with his play calling. GOSH I am giddy!
We need a LB and a safety (maybe ET there), but I have faith in Dorsey to address that in the draft/FA.
Where do we have a hole? Kicker? This team is loaded and has 0 holes in my book once this offseason is completed.
What are everyone's thoughts now that the dust is starting to settle?

We are a Matchup Nightmare now for any Defense.
We got a QB who is accurate on all kinds of passes and needs only small windows to suceed.
We have 3 WRs that can break ankles in Landry (the worst of the 3) Calloway and OBJ. Any one of the 3 being covered just one on one is a miss match.
We got the size guys in both Njoku and now Harris. 6'5" and 6'7" again who is going to cover those guys? Harris with a LB giving 5-6 inches in height, a CB or Safety giving away 7-8 inches and remember the further down the CB/DB list you go the likelihood if they are good (the 3rd 4th CB) you are looking at very short. If tall then they literally SUCK.
What we got here is a young QB who is very good on his pre-snap reads and I'm sure in year 2 will be much better. He can see Man or Zone as we motion and then he can see who has the miss match.
Also teams will find it hard to blitz our young QB leaving Cover Zero...If we need speed we got Calloway - if we need size we got Njoku and Harris.
Don't count out Higgins, Duke and Devalve who I think will end up as our FB/H-Back and another miss match nightmare!
Already Kitchens had shown a propensity to utilize many formations. We can go 3 RB with Chubb, Duke and Hunt.
2 WRs, 2 TE and Chubb? 3WRs 2 TE. 4 WR 1 TE. So so many looks.
This team has miss matches galore.
What I like best is that if we become a scoring machine. Opponents are going to have to keep up and Pass, pass, pass and now we got our Pass rushing studs out there to pin their ears back...Sacks galore!

Defense wins championships. Watson play your butt off! Go Browns! CHRIST HAS RISEN! GM Strong! & Stay safe everyone!

Uncle Rizzo would say "ITS GOOD TO BE ALIVEEEEEEEEE" Then he'd talk about his favorite barbecue technique and tell us how many celebrities he met in an elevator.

I'm still wary about our LB and S now ... but our O is legit. Let's hope Corbett and Robinson hold their own
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

At DT, context and meaning are a scarecrow kicking at moving goalposts.

Already Kitchens had shown a propensity to utilize many formations. We can go 3 RB with Chubb, Duke and Hunt. Grips made some big plays out of that formation last year, now with Hunt and Beckham being plug and play in the same formation? I think Duke is the odd man out and will be traded. The "inverted wishbone" is going to give DCs some serious indigestion.
