It'd be nice if occasionally something REAL was caught on camera. Other wise it's a bunch of people walking around in the dark going, " I FEEL a cold spot." or "Did you SMELL that?" The two senses that aren't well captured by film. I could make videos like this in my basement. OOOoooo... spooky.

did you not see the eastern state pentitentary episode? or the ch lighthouse episode?
i think them sometimes not finding anything further validates their credibility...
orbs, cold spots, and other stuff they say could indicate activity, but if you watch the show enough, they are very skeptical... that's why the show is such a draw, these guys go into these places thinking they are going to try and debunk whatever they see

I love it. I DVR it all the time.
My all time favorite episode is that light house in Florida. That was CRAZY. The Stanley Hotel was a good one too.

When I was younger I used to ghost hunt in cemetaries and into the woods at night, and sometimes I'd go snooping into barns and old country churches.
But to make it a lot spookier I would eat some acid before I did it, then I'd go out into these spooky areas with a head full of LSD and I would swear I saw stuff. Like dark shadows running from tree to tree, or hiding behind gravestones. I'd talk to the names of the deceased asking them to come out and conversate. It really made the experience a whole lot more real. You'd swear you heard them talking, or you'd catch something moving in the corner of your eye. Funny thing is, I wouldn't be scared, just curious. It was sort of spiritual.
I used to really enjoy the heck out of summer and autumn.

We played similar "games" in Bucyrus with some friends. Running around spun out in cemeteries at night was always interesting.

Watch it every chance I get. Would love for the TAPS Crew to go to Gettysburg or even Antietam Battlefields to try and get some footage. I am planning on going up there close to the end of the month myself...

Hang out at the little bridge to the restrooms at Devils Den...Many sightings of a ragged Confederate soldier there. Also go into the area of the Rose house at evening time, spooky for sure!

the only problem is that when you do things outside, you can't really do evp's because the noises can come from anywhere...
although the one episode they did in ireland was absolutely nuts...

I've watched Ghost Hunters, but prefer watching Most Haunted on the Travel channel instead. It is a good show, though.

go to Gettysburg
One of the most incredible places in the country. There is a whole other feeling going into Gettysburg, knowing the history, it's a place everybody needs to visit, for reasons other than ghost, that would just add to the fun

Yeah, we caught an episode earlier this summer and were hooked instantly. I downloaded every episode and we watched them all in about two weeks. Good stuff. They've lost a lot of fans with the Charles Manson season finale though. Hopefully they get back on track this fall.

What happened on the season finale that made them loose a bunch of fans? I missed that episode along with many others but I do enjoy the show and was wondering what had happended during the Manson episode. Thanks!!

There's proof that the FLIR footage shown in the episode was altered, the house they were in belonged to a movie producer who was shooting a horror film about the Manson murders (huge conflict of interest), and a dodgy new device called a "KII" meter was introduced by the questionable guest investigator Chris Fleming (of Dead Famous) and he used it to ask the apparition yes/no questions. The device is now being sold on his Web site. The episode was a mess.

Speaking of "Dead Famous", is that show coming back on?? I think one of the scariest episodes I saw was when they were at Boothill in Arizona and the Tombstone saloon looking for John Wayne's spirit......

I'm watching it now, never watched it before. Doesn't seem to bad but I have yet to see an actual haunted place.
It must be some maratgon or something. I have watched two episodes so far.
