If your looking for a movie that will make you jump out of your seat....this is the one..
but..
If your a big halloween fan and are looking for an immediate classic..this not the one
I'm not gonna lie either... there is alot of death in this movie and also alot of things that do not make sense or are unrealistic.. alot of cringing..
but overall
I watched this movie at 12am and it certainly kept me awake the whole time.. not one person in the theatre could have slept through this constant chase filled bloody thriller

Thats exactly what I expected. Rob Zombie directed this movie, so I assumed a lot of death and things that dont make sense.
They shouldnt have ruined Halloween for it though

Worth seeing it, or waste of time because it's a bad remake?

I just got back from watching it. It's not great but it's o.k. Not even close to being as good as the original.

Did you consider the Halloween that had Busta Rymes a classic? The one where they was doing a reality show by having some people stay in the house Micheal Myers grew up in.

I hated the original so I might like this one.

Saw it and really liked it. I liked it better than the original because it had more back story on Michael as a child. What a creepy looking kid he is too. Yikes. Personally to me, of the big "movie monster" franchises, MM is definitely the scariest. That expressionless, white mask... yikes

I also liked the fact that it had the backstory on how MM was turned into the killer he is. That part of the movie was great and kept your attention. However once you got into the actual remake part of the movie it left alot to be desired and could not compete with the original. Overall it was worth the see though.
