The "Executive Order" allowing Mexican trucking firms to operate legally north of the border takes effect tomorrow.
Trucks running with dirty fuel and few environmental safeguards will be streaming across the border driven by Spainish speaking drivers who will not understand certain road signs. Let the fun begin.
The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under the name of 'liberalism' they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, .

I heard in Mexico they don't regulate trucking at all. talking about substandard trucks and drives that don't have drug tests or limits on hours they can drive  You know how many guys are going to try and bring illegals into this country?

What sort of goods will the Mexican Truckers be transporting?
Will the goods that they are transporting be produced by American companies that operate in Mexico?
How do all of the American companies that operate in Mexico transport their goods? (Mcdonalds, KFC, General Motors) just to name a few
I get it, it's okay for the US to go inside of Mexico and make money, but God forbid, Mexicans would like the US to help develop the Mexican economy.

Help the Mexicans develop their economy??????????? You mean more than the millions sent back to Mexico each week from the illegal trespassers disguised as "undocumented workers'?
I guess I shouldn't care too much about our trucking industry taking a hit...but soon the truckers will. The Mexican trucking industry is notorious for running dirty fuel,using few emission control devices or even rudimentary safety regulations to control driver efficiency.
You think Jose or Miguel will stop their truck and empty their fuel tanks before entering the USA and then refill with gov't approved/mandated diesel fuel designed to be eco friendly??? Hell No!
How many will be able to read our maps or follow directional signage????
Watch for the Teamsters to start bitching when they feel the pinch of losing work to Jose and his home boys. Then again, where were the truckers when WalMart fought back the unions....well they were standing in a Walmart checkout line with the rest of us.
