UCF was the best independent team in the country this year. is way better than Notre Dame was this year.

Probably would have given a better showing than Notre Dame has...
Two things: 1.) Notre Dame is over-rated every year. 2.) They should try to win a conference championship first.

I'm not an OSU fan, at all, but I'm like 99% confident they would have put on a better showing than Notre Dame.

There's not enough capital letters in the world that could convince me that OSU or Gerogia would not have put up a better fight.

I agree. That was an egg by ND
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Will the Alabama/Oklahoma game be worth watching through four whole quarters?
Who you got guys (and girls)? Score prediction?

I'm with you guys. Go Sooners.
But Bama should win by 2-3 scores

My girl called right before the fumble then reversal on Alabama's 1st drive, so I didn't see the play at all. To me that was a huge momentum changer. What did you guys see? Was it a fumble or not?

Unfortunately, his elbow was down before the ball came out. Thanks Tulsa. All I saw was the Oklahoma recovery then next thing I see is Alabama lined up on offense again.

I wasn't sure initially, but my wife pointed out that his elbow was down before the ball moved. She has become a pretty knowledgeable sports fan and she's a Steelers/Notre Dame convert.

Hopefully this puts the Lincoln Riley to Cleveland rumors to rest. Agree! This high school style only works in the Big 12.

Eek...Steelers and Notre Dame? that's a double whammy Tell me about it!! She became a Browns/OSU fan when we were married (my choice, lol). We actually were married the day of an OSU/ND (not planned that way and a lot of people looking for a TV) game and played "Carmen, Ohio" during the reception after the Buckeyes kicked their butts.

There's not enough capital letters in the world that could convince me that OSU or Gerogia would not have put up a better fight. This. I'm a UGA guy, so some bias, but dang. I can't help but think how they would have competed against Clemson. Heck, Ohio St. too, and I'm not even a fan. ND needs to get the UCF treatment, and UCF should have been given the ND treatment. I think they would have done a TON better against Clemson today than ND.

But at least they are in one! There needs to be a rule instituted that you must at least be a part of a conference to make the playoffs.

I said this at the time the playoffs were announced. I completely understand why they took ND and maybe even Oklahoma, but I thought the best four teams in the nation were Alabama, Georgia, Clemson, and Ohio State. In that order.

This bowl season has been awful so far. I haven't watched some of the lesser games like the Massengill Douche bowl or anything.
