Swish made a great observation on Facebook recently that the number of "Men are trash" posts seems to go down as Christmas approaches.

My mom has been staying at my house to help with Duke, and she loves the Hallmark channel. I knew from the 1st 10 minutes what was going to happen in the end in the 2 movies I saw.

I will admit to having spent a disproportionately large amount of time watching Christmas movies on Lifetime and Hallmark this Christmas season. I have never really watched either channel before except when I come in and my wife is watching it.. I will ask her which guy in the current scene is the arse who deserves to die.
As Ytown said, the Christmas movies all follow the exact same storyline, they are very predictable... but at the same time, oddly entertaining for me.

I don’t know how you all deal with the abuse you live with on a daily basis! Very sad. I’m glad you get a slight reprieve during the holiday season. It warms my heart. That said, when I do catch a Hallmark Christmas show from time to time, I always enjoy them. They are so dumb and predictable, but it’s somehow awesome!
