Thanks, I play in keeper league with some friends for about 12 years (we had a re-draft last year). Drafted Elliott in the second round last year when everyone was scared to draft him because of the looming suspension. I drafted him, because I knew I could keep him for the next year
Took a flyer Kamara in around the 14th round last year, because of his talent/pass catching ability and that Saints offense.
This year took Conner in the 12th round, guess I have no clue what the other players were thinking, guess they forgot about him. Mahomes was my Backup pick because of that KC offensive talent since I drafted Cam.
Yea it’s always the other choice that ends up doing well, lol

Kamara ... thats a pretty damm good 14th rounder ... possibly the best value ever ... *L* ... I have 3 all time value picks ... I took Stephen Davis of the Redskins the year he blew up in rind 14 of a 15 round draft ... i took him cause i had drafted E. Smith with my first pick and it was one of the few years they had byes every week ... so I needed someone to play for Emmit in week 1 .. i had heard that week Davis was gonna start over someone ... can’t remember who ... well the plan was to use Davis as a week 1 fill in and get rid of him ... well he scored two TD’s opening week so we decided to “hang on” to him and see how he did .. well the rest is history ... *L* .. Then in that same draft .. next round we needed a back up QB for S. HYoung who we took in rnd 2 ... i’d heard a lot of the rams really liked some dude i’d Never heard of named Warner .... green went down and he was supposedly playing for some high scoring new O Vermail was implementing so we told a flier .... Young got concussed in week 2 we inserted Warner and ran the hell away with the league ... *L* ... both were LUCKY AS HELL picks that worked out pretty dang good ... *L* .. But damm .. Kamara in a keeper league in rnd 14 ... thats some LONG ASS TERM VALUE .. My 3rd one was Terrance Mathis in rnd 13 of a 15 rnd draft .... that was year 1 of the run and shoot .... HOLY CRAP did he score a lot of point that year ... *L* ....

Haha that’s awesome. Those are sfome fun picks. Yea, picking up Warner that year would’ve been awesome.
Ah, they’re all lucky as hell. We do our research and sometimes they blow up like Warner or Kamara and sometimes it just becomes another forgettable move, lol
One year you draft like John Dorsey...other years you draft like Matt Millen.
But those Dorsey drafting years are what keep you hooked on fantasy

Kamara is one of my favorite players in the NFL right now ... good value there obviously

Crazy weekend. I won 145.06 - 144.70. I literally won, because of that last drive by Mahomes. Which was crazy in itself because the Oline had two holding penalties on two nice screen passes so it set up 2nd and 30, lol. The TD pass a little earlier had me down 2 pts. Then it set up that last drive. My overall team went off, even my bench. Mahomes - 24.86 Elliott - 30 Kamara - 36.10 Conner - 6.40 Fuller - 10.90 Ridley - 17.50 Goedert - 1.30 (I desperately need a TE) Fairbairn - 13 Seattle - 5 Bench: RB Lindsay - 13.90 Aaron Jones - 14.20 Ekeler - 11.60 WR A. Cooper - 18.80 Corey Davis - 22.10 Mike Williams - 1.50 I need to trade one of those guys for a TE. Btw, good call on starting Ridley. That was the difference in the win! I didn’t expect Cooper to go off on the Browns And Davis had a rough patch of games. How did everyone else do??

I got my ass kicked in my big money league ... my team isn’t very good and my top 3 picks are all hurt and have been since week 1 ... That makes me worse ... even with them i wouldn’t be very good ... not my best draft ... *L* ... Glad Ridley worked out ... although my reasons as to why not to play Williams were about as wrong as u could be .... *L* ... Glad u won dawg ...

Ouch, that sucks. Who were your first three picks?
We both were wrong about Williams, lol.
Thankfully I switched with your recommendation

Aaron Jones was a good play .. and will be from here on out IMO

Definitely, I’m expecting / hoping he will make use of his talents.
I didn’t want to, but I almost traded him for George Kittle. Thankfully I talked the person into taking Lindsey from Denver instead of Jones.

I have two teams, both are in 12 team PPR leagues:
In one league, I have to choose between Alex Smith (@ Saints) and Blake Bortles (@ Chiefs).
In my other league, at Flex, my choices are Keelan Cole (@ Chiefs), Mike Williams (Chargers) at home vs Raiders, Ty Montgomery (@ Lions), or Derrick Henry (yuck) @ Bills.
What say you, mavens of the cyber-gridiron?

Boy, I'd probably go Smith and Cole ... both will be shootouts IMO

I have a decision at Flex on my team Its a 12 team PPR league. So my choice today is from David Njoku vs Atlanta, Tyrell Williams (SD) vs Oakland, and Marques Valdes-Scantling (GB) vs Miami. (I also have RB Wendell Smallwood (Phil) vs New Orleans.) What do you think?

Thanks Diam - I had MVS set to start, but was tempted towards T Williams because he had two monster games, including one against us. But he's too boom-or-bust, I think. At Flex, I'm usually pretty happy with 13-14-15 points, and MVS looks like the most likely to provide that.

I know you're referring to season long, but that's just to say I like them both. Njoku should kill it in the middle of the field today, as should Duke. I guess it's a matter of who Mayfield focuses on. Plus Njoku is a matchup nightmare in the redzone with a ton of TD upside over any other receiver really.

Since you like Njoku today, how do you feel about starting him over Trey Burton at TE?

I like it better knowing Allen Robinson is playing and Burton just has not been getting the targets this year like we all thought he would.

Njoku in a heartbeat over Burton ...
Memph makes some good points about Njoku ... i really like MVS ... thats why i chose him ...
WARNING: .. i have not been good at picking layers week to week this year ... or last for that matter ... I used to EXCEL at it ... not so much anymore ... *LOL* ..

Hi guys - I'm on the edge of the playoffs in my work league, one game back with a record of 5-5, and I'm playing the #1 seed (as of now) in the league. He's 9-1. My RB1 is Saquon Barkley. At RB2 and Flex, I need to choose from Joe Mixon (@ Baltimore), Kerryon Johnson (home vs Carolina), and Mark Ingram (home vs Philly). I have Mixon set right now at RB1 and Ingram at Flex, but I'm not sure I trust Mixon because a.) he has had a banged up knee (but has no injury designation this week), b.) the Ravens are the #1 ranked fantasy defense vs RB's, and c.) Hue Jackson is involved (this one is a joke, sort of ... no, really, its a joke ... or maybe not). Anyway, which 2 would you start?

I'd start Johnson...He is getting touches, and the Panthers give up 95 yards or a TD a game to backs with 14 or more touches.
If everybody had like minds, we would never learn. GM Strong

I like the Kerryon option as well. The highest targeted player this year for the Lions is out (Jones) and they traded away Tate. Tons of target volume to be had by Golloday, Riddick, and Johnson.

It looks like a push to me; can't really go wrong with either. Is there someone else you could bench so you could start both?

Ended up starting Ekeler, didn't matter, they were both garbage but I was able to still win thankfully and sneak into the playoffs.

Division championship week in my league. Am the #1 seed with 12-2 record...rode the Goff Train through most of the year...but man he has fallen on hard times...As a homer pick to end my draft in August I picked Baker to fill out my roster. Obviously we all know Bakers ceiling/floor..he has a decent match up with the Bengals this week..Goff on the other hand has not thrown a TD in like 3 games...plays a Cardinal team that sucks against the run (tons of gurley in my opinion). Do we project a 25 point Goff or a 12 point Goff? So the question is Baker or Jared? This could easily be a $300 decision as it would likely be the deciding factor of me getting into the guaranteed money of championship weekend

Tough call, Gurley is up in the air right now with a knee injury and a weak match up. They could sit him.

Anyone available on the waiver wire .... Foles Kennum and Mullens are the best available...ugh Of course i do have stafford on my roster but again ugh. Here is secondary delima...WR consist of Theilen, Edelman and Brandin Cooks. Cooks is the delima..He puts up more then adequate numbers for me and and has the potential to go off.. he still has been serviceable during Goffs slump, but Goff has effected his numbers too so a bad Goff outying can have a slight double whammy. I have CMC and Kamara as my backs so they also help buffer my scores especialy since it is PPR scoring. Also having Kelce catching TDs from Mahommes helps....I know...there were a bunch of idiots drafting in my 10 team league.
