Good job by the Browns today. Rode a hot start into letting the Bengals chase in the second half..
I know some people probably freaked out a little when the Bengals were pressing, but honestly, where the Bengals were today is where we have been for 3 years now. Just chasing points and making things semi-interesting.
Mayfield looked good, receivers looked good. I thought Cincinnati did a decent enough job on our running game.
Would like to see a little bit better pass rush, second half today we knew they were throwing and still lacked good enough pressure.
Can't wait for the next game. Would love to see these guys put together a few wins, and maybe we can have a fun weekend or two where we can root for craziness.

Rather win going away than holding on. First half was the best this team looked in years, second half looked really familiar

offense and defense looked great....in the 1st half.
i love the win, but we really need to not do what we did again in the 2nd half. this game should've been a mud stomping, yet we gave them hope. we shouldn't be giving teams hope.
regardless, Njoku really showed out today, and we finally got a franchise QB folks. Baker made every single throw you want a QB to make, and he did it with ease.

First thought right after game...STOP PLAYING NOT TO LOSE!
with ELEVEN MINUTES left in the THIRD QUARTER we start running up the middle and punting. I mean, at least wait til the 4th quarter.
I just don't get it. It's like our coaches WANT to lose.

Here’s a stat to show how bad our offense was in second half. Baker attempted 4 passes

Should have won by about 50.
I'll still take a 15 point win
you had a good run Hank.

Looks like they went to Cinci and beat their ass! Seriously though I wish they had never slowed Baker down in the second half. I would have been good with 60+ against the Bengals. First time I've ever goaded my son-in-law into a bet, he had to call me after the game and concede the fact that the Browns are better than the Bengals! lol

- Browns beat the snot of the Bengals even with completely letting up in the second half.
- Mayfield was excellent.
- Chubb's catch reminded me of Noah Brown's catch. Outstanding play.
- Great job by the o-line.
- Demarious Randall handing the ball to Hue after that INT was hilarious (Hue's fan club will whine about this).
- Mayfield clealry has zero respect for Hue. Barely acknowledged him after the game. Pat McAfee's tweet said it all.
- Browns came out and made a statement. Would've liked to have seen them put up 50. They could have if they wanted to.
- Mayfield going to win another Pepsi Rookie of the Week
- 2-1-1 in the division
- Finally, a road win.
- Go Browns!

Even up 28-0 and 35-7 I felt a little uneasy because of our past history. We won and played well that's what counts but we should have kept our foot on the gas at least through 3 qtrs.

After halftime I got a bit nervous, but we still won so thank God for that. P.S. It was a very good hello again & goodbye again to Hue.

Analytics says nows the time to listen to offers for Baker Mayfield, you know while he's playing so well. We may be able to get 2 #1's and a #2 for him!!!

Browns should have kept their foot on the gas and scored 50+. Don't care for the 2nd half mentality.
Randall completely disrespected Hue. Not a fan of that, at least out in the open.
Baker completely disrespected Hue after the game. Something had to have happened behind the scenes between Hue and Baker.
Whether you wanted to retain or fire Hue, it can't be denied this team is playing so much better since he's been let go.

Great game. I too thought they went conservative a little too early.
Good thing we only punted a couple times, the coverage was horrendous. This still needs fixed.
Garret was getting clotheslined the whole game, no holding calls at all, pathetic.
Baker is the real deal, and this team goes all out for him.
Loved Bitonio doing Njoku's TD dance.
Randall handing Hue the ball was priceless.
2-1-1 in the division, that is definite progress.
This game could have been a worse blowout.
STs need some work, if they are serious about making a playoff push.
RIP, Jim

I thought we got too conservative on O when we were up 35-7. I get it to an extent, but man I would have kept going for the jugular.
Our kicker is booting them with more confidence. He's striping them right down the middle.
Baker keeps impressing, his TD to Callaway, throwing slightly across his body, was a beauty - Bake has the IT factor. Njoku had some nice catches, their guys made some, too.
By the way, has anyone else noticed we've stopped dropping easy catches?
Can we do something about our kick coverage? It's brutal.
At the end of the game, when they completed that pass at our four yard line, I thought 'oh please, don't blow this', luckily they too an illegal formation penalty and that was huge.
If we go to Houston next week and win, things might get very interesting.

I agree with all your points except the 1st one. We have to play these guys twice a year. I don't agree with running up the score even if it was done to us. I do agree that we should have kept our foot on the gas until the beginning of the 4th qtr.

I have to put Randall's "gifting" his interception to the opposing bench right up there with Tim Couch waving bye-bye to Ravens fans as he left the field after knocking them out of the playoffs, and Chris Gardocki flipping off the Steelers' bench after being roughed by Joey Porter.

Callaway has been improving every week. Why did we keep trying to run up the middle? Great fun game. Baker has a nice touch pass when needed.

I have no issue with what baker said or what Randall did. Hue was classless after he left here. He deserves it all. Besides it’s nice to have players that have a nasty “ if you’re not with us you’re against us” mentality

Hue had the right to go anywhere, he was fired. But to be on the sidelines for this game, IMO, was a slap in the face to the players who played for him. Didn't bother me when he signed there, but seeing him on the sidelines rubbed me the wrong way.
What I did find funny though, was the shot of him shaking his head about a bad play by the Bengals. Saw him do that too many times here.
I got nothing against Hue, but this team is night and day without him and Haley.
RIP, Jim
