Got my license today. Missed 25 points (miss 26 and you fail ) but that's only because I was nervous. I've actually had quite a few people complement me on my driving. Its interesting, my parents told me how different driving alone is, when I drove down to Burger King I saw what they ment, but I really liked the feeling.

Now I need to get tags for my car and get it in the shop.

Congrats. One piece of advice, other than saying a car isn't a toy....

Don't drink and drive, ever.

Congrats . If I may add one note of caution it would be to always try to be alert because you will find that there are alot of idiots on the road, do your best not to be counted as one of them.

Congrats!!

When I went for my license I passed the road w/100% but failed the maneuvering b/c it was snowing. I took out a cone and automatically failed I was mad b/c it was snowing real bad but the tester told me I have to learn to drive it in anyways so he showed me no mercy. I took it 2 days later and passed with flying colors. It was a great feeling!

2 weeks later I slid and took out a fire hydrant

Congrats dude, just drive safe! Like Punch said, don't drink and drive... Also, try not to freeze on the road. Always keep your head in the game.

I love to drive, I guess it's a control thing... Most times it's a pain in the butt, especially in Florida. You have the old women going 15-under, and young college kids going 15-over. High school kids can usually be found going over 100, everywhere in the country.

I've been in two-accidents: One hydroplane on the exit ramp of a highway, really wet day. Feels so surreal to be behind the wheel of a car going out of control. My second was another storm related, a girl ran into me from behind. I guess I've just been lucky, you have to drive real defensive around these parts.

Hope your car runs well, and hope you have a good time. Don't forget to take a road trip!

I really cant imagine driving in two years. Though I think I could probably do a better job now than my sister can and she's two years older than me.

Thank you everyone. I'll drive safe and I assure you I'll never drink and drive.

I already have an idea for a road trip, drive all around the northeast going to amusement parks. That'll probably happen the summer before I go off to college.

I took a road trip this year, before I went off to school... Just drove up to Cleveland and saw the Browns. With everything that happened there, I feel like I can write a novel (if anyone wants, PM me for a draft ) Nothing like a trip like that, put my head in the right place for school and the drive itself is reasonably calming. Greatest experience of my life man, hope you'll have the chance yourself.

You should ask GM about his first driving experience... something spooked the horse and his chariot almost fell over.

Wow, one would think you'd steer clear of 275 anyways. I had to go over the Howard Franklin and through Malfunction Junction every single day during rush hour both ways....talk about not being fun!

Not a lot of people know that the whole reason the words "toga" and "party" are so associated.. is BECAUSE of GM...
