Can't make it this week my friend. I enjoyed seeing you guys for the Thursday night game. About every 2 years I meet up with some old childhood friends...I mean going back 55-60 years. This is the game the 3 of them are going, so I have to stop and hang for a hour or two.

I'll be able to look down on you guys from my vantage point. I'll be up on the bluff, above the Muni lot....not far to the left from your view at Burke from where DTI used to be. Look for me, I'll wave!!

I know exactly where you will be...But that means i will have to look up...and that very well could cause me to fall over... lol

I don't normally set up a full gate anymore, but I still have the gear. No promises here, but I may do it again. I'll stop at the west side market on some Saturday, buy $125 worth of jumbos like I did last time and make more of my New Orleans BBQ shrimp.

They are pretty damn good if you don't mind me saying so myself. I have a lot of people around here asking me if I am going to be cooking shrimp anytime soon.

Mom was born in Alabama, but my Grandmother was born in Louisiana, south of New Orleans so Mom was well versed in Cajun/Creole cooking.
