The pick wasn't his fault, the wonky snapped wasn't, the other fumble maybe. That was another dumb call by our OC, 14-point lead, you don't put your QB in a three -step drop where traffic can show up fast. 20/20....., haha

Despite the loss, my confidence in Baker's long-term viability has grown after today.

The NFL sure loves their fantastic finishes.

I just watch the "Spotgate" call.... still terrible.

Also, our special teams is horrible. The Punt and Kick returners can't even build momentum as people are coming in unblocked.

We had a lot of receiver drops, way too many.

Losing Mitchell hurt us and created a match up issue.

We need to run the ball more. Our OC is a little too cute IMO.

Our special teams are one of the biggest culprits in this loss. They can't cover any kick. And Peppers is the worst returner I ever saw.

Yes. We get several special teams penalties every game. And we have zero return game.

You don't see four-hour games very often.

So many momentum swings, the whole 68 minutes. Lol being a Browns fan ain't for the weak-hearted.

Besides the poorly officiated game...

Our DLine is so exhausted...2nd time 4 games they've been in OT, with little if any subs...We have non existent back ups...Our Dline starters are playing way too much...And the D is on the field way too much.

Kirksey seems slow and invisible...Jamie Collins actually made some positive plays today...His effoert looks wack some times, he also plays slow...Schobert played poor as well.

Why do we put a box SS in Kinred out wide on Jared Cook whom is the Raiders best weapon...? Ward had some nice coverage at times today, and some good hits. Mitchell injury hurt us (He was probably our best FA signing defensively)

On special teams...Denzel Rice is trash he never makes the tackle on punt or kick coverage. Peppers is nothing like he was as a returner, he is slow and lacks any awareness...Kudos to him for not coughing it up on that huge hit. Our special teams coach is lucky to be employed.

Our Oline...Tretter seemed like our best bet the first two weeks, then has had iffy games the past two weeks. How is the #33 overall pick (Corbett) not active on a team who has such a mediocre Oline...Pray to god he's not another wiff. Zeitler isn't himself...Hubbard is mediocre as a high paid RT...Bitinio is getting no push in the run game...I can blame some of his problems playing beside a UDFA LT...Harrison looks pretty solid for whom he is.

I've been preaching how bad our WR core is behind Landry...Calloway was pretty much handed the starting role by default...He should be at best case scenario a #3 or 4...I like Higgins, as I know Baker does...But Higgins scares noone and is slow despite his thin frame.

Our TE core is just as bad...None of them can block, Fells had that nice grab and his seam was wide open after that catch (reminded me of Ben Watson there) Devalve is absent and still injured...I'm a U guy, and I had Njoku as 3rd round talent, and warned any team taking him higher would have a bust on hand. Hell Aaron Shea was a better blocker than Njoku, and Rickey Dudley had better hands then him...Enough said....We need a true weapon here as well.

Baker had some really nice plays, and some really stupid plays (some of his play style which I never cared for risky actions) However I won't beat on him too much...He is much better than 17 mill Tyrod Taylor.

Chubb ran hard and looked determined-great game by him. Hyde lacks a 2nd or 3rd gear, however he was my favorite FA pick-up on O...He has really soft hands, which has not been showcased in our showings yet. Duke needs to see the field, even if it is at slot WR and returner.

Man, this team leaves me angered.

every week it seems like our game is the strangest, and we're on the bad end 99% of the time

That's the craziest part about our futility. Not only have we had the worst front offices, the worst players, the worst coaches, but we also have had the worst luck.

Also,

Someone made a remark here last week of not returning any kick offs that land in the end zone...I'm officially on the wagon for that.

This team still lacks very basic elements of a team -a return game, a coverage units, at least one damn good gunner, a reliable kick game, a present pass rush...Weapons for your QB, etc.

Some of the worst refereeing I've seen in ages. Highlights:
+ Lynch was not stopped early on when they blew the whistle early
+ Terrible holding call on the Lynch long run
+ The strip sack not a fumble - in what league is that not a strip 6
+ The overturn of the first down
+ On our last punt, one of the most obvious blocks in the back happened feet away from the ref - both arms outstretched clearly with hands on the numbers on the back of the jersey

Drops - I counted 9

Special teams penalties. Speaking of, why the heck is Peppers returning kicks? He's not good. I'm to the point where we fire the special teams coach.

What the heck happened to our defense? I know Oakland has a top 10 offense (yards), but we couldn't cover and let Lynch run loose way too many times.

I had more hope for Haley's offense. I know they're not using the whole playbook yet - but there was some really poor play calling.

On the flip side - wow on Chubb's game. As a matter of fact, I really like our whole RB room.

Baker was pretty good, with a few mistakes. I have faith we picked the right guy, at least if his first 6+ quarters is any indication.

As poor as the play calling was at times - 42 points and 487 yards of offense. I can't complain about that.

Yeah I saw him flash twice, Coley again-invisible...Garrett flashed maybe 6-7 plays, Ogu was much more quiet than last week...

All i know Dorsey better beef up our back-ups, our starting unit is playing nearly all game with literally no rest...and the D is on the field way too much to begin with.

(strangest that's ever happened!)

Did ya notice how with victory formation about to start, and

Did ya notice how they used the chain gang, the first down measurement sticks showed the Browns had a first down!

And it still ended up being 4th down?
Have you ever seen that before, I haven't!

I thought Garrett was awesome. He was in on a ton of run plays. He was also getting held all day. He looked like he hurt his arm towards the end of the game, if he is seriously hurt we are screwed.

Refs handed the game to Raiders. Hyde had the first down, game was over. The "in the grasp" call that should've resulted in an Ogunjobi TD and Browns win.

NFL officiating is ruining the game.

He is our best Dlineman and I'm a huge fan, and he actually showed up on some run plays today (one on Doug Martin and 2 on Lynch I can recall) However he takes himself out on plays by being overwhelmed too easily...But he should improve...And I hate the fact he, along with Ogbah and our fatties are playing way too high snap counts....We have no rotation or wave guys. Hoping Garrett stays injury free, as we will be even more horrid without him.

I think our coordinators got outcoached today. Haley just doesn’t get it and Williams don’t know when to not be aggressive and just cover the play. They countered our blitzes perfect and we still keep doing it. Even when we did we couldn’t get all the way there enough. Losing Mitchell is huge

This was one of the most pathetic losses I have seen from this team.

Why are we going for 2pt conversion after our first TD? Hue out thinking himself...again?

We had run for over 200 yrds on the Raiders...we get the ball with SIX fricken minutes on the clock...we needed 25 yrds to get into FG range...why, why, WHY didn't we run the ball?

I think Haley is too cute....beginning to realize why Ben didn't like him. His play calling makes no sense at times.

Special teams is anything BUT special...THEY SUCK!

I am sick and tired of all the penalties almost everytime we receive a kick. Hey Hue, food for thought....how about installing $5000 penalties for every block in the back and holding penalties on kickoffs and punts.

What was up with Calloway today? Other than his big play he had like, what, three drops? One leading to a score.

Landry, why are YOU dropping catchable balls?

Geez, CAN ANYONE ON THIS TEAM MAKE THE NEEDED PLAY TO WIN A GAME?

Offense puts up 42 points and we lose? Who would have thought that was possible?

Seems like same old, same old...

Yes there were bad calls.

But when you score 42 points and lose; there were far to many defensive breakdowns.

to me, teams are really exploiting our LBs ... and then when Mitchell went out it killed us

Also, does Haley have something against Duke? Not sure why he isn't on the field more.
