Hmmmmmm, thats a fairly close trade. I don't think there is a straight up loser, but I would probably prefer to be the one getting Wayne, Colston & Shockey.

Wayne is money in the bank. He a Holt have been my staple tandem for a few years now.
If Colston is & stays healty and that offense can repeat it's scoring performance of last year, it is well worth giving up Gates for Shockey.

the running back give is the only thing that had me hesitate ( they are a premium in my league, & Tatem could be a starter. I haven't done my research yet to find out Jones' situation this season. If person already got 2 better backs and can get a third decent guy. no problem.

there is also a big risk in putting so much weight on Detroit. I wouldn't do it.
Calvon would be more intersting pick up if it's a keeper league, but Wayne is already a proven producer.

Depends what the rest of those 2 teams look like. If your giving up Gates to get Shockey and those 2 WR, I would guess that you are deep at RB and thin at WR. I dont know which team is yours, but I would hope that Team already has 2 starting RB's, if thats the case, good deal upgrading the WR position and still staying strong at TE.

I think you got a good deal. You upgraded your WR and didn't really need the RB

With the other guy having Gore and Westbrook I don't really see why he would want to trade his WR for another RB

Dawgsbite, you made out really well with this deal. You greatly upgraded your receivers, and you didn't really need Bell at all. Shockey is a little of a downgrade from Gates, obviously, but it was worth it for you!
