"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Some new items to try at the ballpark this year....
Pass.
Whatever happened to a good old fashioned burger, or a good old fashion chili dog? Leave off the jams, the apples, cherries, and cranberries ..... put the cole slaw on the side .....
Man, it's like people say "Let me see how much stuff doesn't go with pork, or a burger, or a hot dog .... and we'll throw it all on top.

I'm a big baseball fan. Its my favorite sport, and I wait all winter for it to start again. So I'm a little bit chapped that opening day for Indians fans in Cleveland starts at 10PM tonight, and I have to get up before 5AM for work tomorrow. Would it kill them to hold their opener at 1PM, or even at 4PM in Seattle, so Indians fans can celebrate bringing in the new season too? Its annoying. I get that ESPN wants a west coast game to broadcast, but why couldn't it be the Dodgers vs Giants, or something?
Just a regular old steamed weenie on a soft bun is what baseball is about! Although, I've sat in club seats a few times and think I gained five lbs. each time...
king felix reigns supreme in Game 1 ... tribe loses 2-1
Kluber settled in nicely after the 1st, just not enough runs

Kinda stinks to have the season start in Seattle .. can't remember that happening

Tribe had a chance. With Chisenhall and Davis on 2nd and 3rd in the top of the 9th with only 1 out, Gomes swing at ball 4 to strikeout and Naquin struckout as well. Disappointing, after Kluber pitches a great game after giving up the HR to Cruz.
Bummer to start the year like that, but it was awesome to see Kluber come out and pitch well. Him struggling in the playoffs was worrisome. If he's pitching well I think everything will fall into place for the rest of the team.
The last thing I saw was Cruz's HR. I fell asleep thinking "[bleeping] Kluber and his 1st inning dingers!". I love the guy, but he sure seems to give up a lot of 1st inning bombs.
Carrasco melting down. Dude is great when he’s good but he just isn’t very tough
Not very tough? He was 18-6 last year with a 1.09 WHIP, struck out 227 in 200 IP. He came in 4th in the CY voting, behind Kluber, Sale, and Severino. He'd be the ace on quite a few other teams.
Like I said when he’s good he’s great but he struggles when he loses his control righting the ship. Sorry even announcers alluded to it and it’s something that’s been with cookie his whole career. He’s prone to give up big innings when he falters and sometimes strUggles to right himself. Not saying he sucks at all. Just an observation
Not sure how I feel with kipnis at second, I think defensively jram is a better fit there, I’m curious how this is going to play out. Like seeing Rajai back in a tribe uniform
Is there a site anyone uses besides Stubhub for tickets? I went to 2 games last year Tribe/ Balt series in Balt (I'm living in DC/VA now) and had an awesome time. Well...besides Manny Machado hitting 3 hrs the first game (one in the bot of the 9th), but we did win the second game.
My seats for the first game was second row beside the dugout. Was really cool, talked to Andre Knott for a moment (really cool down to earth guy) and Tito posed for a pic for me right before the game.
Me: Tito! Can I get a picture? Tito: Hurry up, i'm workin' here!
The second game I sat first row behind the dugout. Andre was looking past the dugout and saw me and waved and said, I remember you from yesterday... nice shirt! (I was wearing a Shirt that said Cleveland with Webster Slaughter and Reggie Langhorn jumping in the air doing a the iconic high-five).
Anyways, I ended up paying 100 for the first night and 80 for the second (single seat). I see the about same seats are at 125 now. I really don't care to pay that much for them. I did see about the same seat in the area for 60. I'm thinking maybe the price will drop the closer it comes to game day. But also the tickets might be brought too.
I hate that the Tribe only plays them once a year at Camden. It is a beautiful stadium . I still have Progressive above it though (I'm sure it's because i'm a little bias, lol) I also wish they would play the Nationals, that would make it a lot easier to get to see them.
I would post a few of the pics from the game, but I have no clue how to post from my Mac.
I'm a box score guy whatever the game, but most of all for baseball. So I was perusing the box scores for the first 3 days of the season, and I counted 75 home runs over those 3 days (39 games). That seems like a lot of HRs to me, plus I think there were at least 5 balls hit to the wall in the Indians game yesterday, including the Ichiro catch robbing Ramirez of a HR. All of which makes me wonder if there is some truth to the stories about MLB doctoring the manufacture of baseballs to wind them tighter (or something) in order to inject more "excitement" in the games for casual fans. I feel a little bit like I'm watching Slow Pitch softball, and I don't like it.

Buyer beware not buying Indians tickets on the secondary market from anywhere other than StubHub. I know a couple people that bough tickets from SeatGeek and VividSeats and the Indians did not recognize them as valid tickets.
This policy to recognize StubHub only changed within the past year or two. I'm a season ticket holder and they sent us out a letter than we can only resell on StubHub.
Just a heads up.
