Report: Legendary Jim Brown finds Stan Lee's missing dog

The legendary NFL running back is making contributions away from the field.

Josh Edwards - Mar 18, 10:13 PM

Even a prominent figure like Stan Lee, 95, is not immune to having his dog go missing.

The comic book legend's dog, Charlotte, a mini Pomeranian, went missing in the Hollywood Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles, California according to TMZ. Posters posted in adjoining neighborhoods produced no results for Lee and his family for days.

About a mile away, former Cleveland Browns running back Jim Brown and his wife, Monique, stumbled upon the dog without a collar in their backyard. Before searching the local neighborhoods and discovering one of the posters, the family had emailed several members of their own neighborhood and had even taken the dog to the veterinarian to search for a microchip. Both methods were unsuccessful.

It ultimately led to the reunion of Charlotte and her owner.

Lee is partially responsible for the creation of super heroes such as Spider-Man, the Hulk, Iron Man and the Black Panther.

In addition to an acting career, which is what likely led him to Los Angeles, Brown played nine seasons with the Browns. He played a leading role in 17 films. The former No. 6 overall selection was selected to nine Pro Bowls and was an NFL Champion in 1964. Over the course of his career, he rushed for 12,312 yards and 106 touchdowns in addition to recording 262 receptions for 2,499 yards and 20 touchdowns. The Georgia native is arguably the best NFL player of all-time. His No. 32 jersey was retired by Cleveland and he was enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1971.

Presently, the 82-year old serves as a consultant for the Browns. He is still a public icon for the organization.

Jimmy, (my hat off, head bowed) was walking along with his wife when the dog ran by them at full speed.

Jimmy turned to his wife to hold his hat while he sipped some water and tightened his shoes.

He proceeded to run the dog down, pass it, and turn to catch it.

A mini Pomeranian? Why would a someone look at a breed that small and say "I want it smaller."? Come on man, just get a hamster.

He would make a great hobbit in it. Or maybe a Klingon.

If only we could get him and Bill Belichick as a coach, the Browns would be unstoppable! thumbsup

But alas, neither one of them would ever come here.

Hey, wait just a minute... willynilly

It'd be sweet if he spoke Darthrakian to keep it all canon.

If we package the #1 and #4 we might be able to snag the mini Pomeranian.

His midichlorian levels would have to be off the charts to speak that language.

As a guy that has had a tea cup pomeranian, they cost a bit more than that.

I don't need a mini pomeranian. Because I can just buy a mouse.

And feed to my huskies.

Don't underestimate those little beasts. My Bubbles was a pure blood attack pomeranian. I watched her run off a doberman that got into my back yard one day. She stayed underneath it and went at its legs. That dog high stepped out of my yard in a sheer panic.
