So lets pretend that we've just drafted your favorite QB at #1 overall. Is there a second QB you'd like to see us pick up in the 4th round that could still be there, and have potential? Who?
As I recall, the Redskins seemed foolish to draft both RG3 and Cousins in one draft, but it was their safety net. I would not be opposed to this strategy, even when we still have a ton of needs.

I wonder if we do this or if Hogan is our guy. He was drafted by Dorsey.

Lightning strikes twice for the Redskins. They drafted Heath Shuler (3rd overall) and Gus Freortte in the same year. Freortte was the starter in the second year and had a reasonable career. Shuler was out of football by year 2 and went into politics.
Welcome back, Joe, we missed you!

I think Hogan could be that prospect. Cody shouldn't be on the team anymore. And cheers, I didn't know Hogan was drafted by JD.

I wonder if we do this or if Hogan is our guy. He was drafted by Dorsey. That's interesting, I didn't know that. The problem I see with that is he's been given enough time in the league that its known he's just a backup. I'd like us to take a flyer on a guy in the 4th that maybe slid from his projected spot and see what he's got or could be. Mostly because I've got that fear that we'll Browns up the first overall pick.

I bet we sign a veteran before the draft is over. My money is on Mark Sanchez. If that's the case, I don't think we draft two QBs.

Mike White. I would even consider Lamar in the second. Or Possibly Mason Rudolph, and definitely Josh Allen if he freakishly fell to us in the second.

I have been saying and absolutely not joking about taking two QB’s in every draft until we aren’t the worst team in the league.

I'm not sure Rudolph, Allen, or Jackson are there even in the 2nd. But Rudolph is my favorite of those 3. I'd trade up into the 3rd to get him if still there, but so doubtful. Did anyone else see Mike Tomlin going all googly eyes over Rudolph at his pro day?

Yeah I think Lamar will be long gone by the 2nd round. I don't think he's there past pick 17 at the very latest pick 28.

Yeah put me on the Mike White bandwagon. If he's there in the 5th or 6th, I say go for it.

Luke Falk looks like he's going to be around until at least the 3rd, maybe later. System QB that got beat up badly due to an awful line his last year or two, but possesses a lot of qualities you'd want in a QB.

I would love if somehow Lamar JAckson fell to us in the second RD and we had two young QBS learning behind Tyrod

I've heard we've been sniffing around Chase Litton.

I am not saying I am right, but I think drafting two qbs in one draft when our team has so many glaring needs would be dumb as hell.
I understand that others will disagree w/me and that's cool. I just would not utilize that strategy. Instead, I would try to make the team stronger around my number one qb.

At pick # 150 possibly if our board has him as our BPA, I'd like Mike White. But I doubt Dorsey goes that route, he has a good history with his mid round to late round picks!

I doubt Mike White is still available at #150. He's likely gone by the end of the 3rd.

You never know that would be where he would have to be for us to take him after taking a QB already. You are probably right but that is the only guy I would want us to take later on as in the subject of this thread...just playing along.
It ain't going to happen as you state.

The league is hungry for a new BATCH of Qb's .. You could see 5 go in the first easily ..

They did extend Hogan as an Exclusive Rights Free Agent And I'm okay with Kevin. Seems to have "just" enough arm power and has been better than Kessler. Taylor Kevin #1 Draft pick I'm not against a later round QB either. I've not looked at any other than the top five, but I'll check out some of the names dropped here.

Darnold, Rosen, Mayfield, Allen, Rudolph, and Jackson *could* go to any of ... Cleveland, NYG, NYJ, Denver, Indy, Buffalo, Miami, and Arizona.

I agree with Water ... the league is dying for some new blood. Guys like Brady, Brees, Roethlisberger, Rivers, Eli, Etc have done so much ... but their time is up
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Darnold at #1.
Mayfield at #4.
We NEED a QB. They are on sale. Get two that might actually be able to play. Get a DB, WR, and RB in the second.
