I'm such a chick (and a kid and an old-timer too) when it comes to movies, I guess! LOL!
Casblanca, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, Niagra, Some Like It Hot, Gone With The Wind, White Christmas, Holiday Inn, Miracle on 34th Street (1934 version).
Modern day: Pulp Fiction, Armageddon (glad to see I'm not the only one, Clay), Love Actually, Bull Durham, Shrek (1 & 2, haven't seen 3), Toy Story, Finding Nemo, A Bugs Life, Chicago, Dreamgirls
There are so many more, these are just off the top of my head. My favorites vary with my moods, but Casablanca is my number one all time favorite!

Very very tough choice because so many are good, I'd have to name just a few here, Back to the Future, Pulp Fiction, A Clockwork Orange, Taxi Driver, or the Deer Hunter, Home Alone, Trains, Planes, and Automobiles.
Jeeze there are so many more....

Hard for me to nail down a single favorite, but to do so I would have to go with movies that I can actually stand watching more than once in any short span of time and not get bored, nor tired, of it....
In no particular order, and by no means complete:
Saving Private Ryan History of the World, Part I Young Frankenstein Monty Python & the Holy Grail Life of Brian A Beautiful Mind The Shawshank Redemption Hellraiser (definitely the first one, but pretty much all of them) 1941 Silent Movie
Browns is the Browns
... there goes Joe Thomas, the best there ever was in this game.

In no order:
Die Hard The Lord of the Rings Trilogy Star Wars (2, 3, 4 & 5 only - 1 & 6 were junk) Dumb and Dumber Anchorman Rocky Jaws
It's too bad I cancelled my NetFlix subscription, I had every movie I've ever seen ranked. I think I had 24 movies that were ranked with 5 stars. That would be my list....but I don't have it anymore.
I've been thinking about going back to NetFlix. I have HBO and Cinemax but the movies are getting lame and lamer. And with Sopranos done, I don't see the need to keep HBO.

The Sting, Animal House, Goodfellas, Bull Durham, The Untouchables. The Harry Potter films are entertaining, as are the Indiana Jones ones.
But my favorite may be A Time to Kill. The dude was living my dream - married to Ashley Judd and had Sandra Bullock begging him for an affair. Outside of that, still a great movie, and book.

Excalibur LadyHawk Monty Python and the Holy Grail The Fast and The Furious (actually all 3 of them) Find Me Guilty LOTR (not action but FANTASY) Not too into chick flicks but do absolutely love a couple of them because it involves sports: For Love of The Game and Tin Cup are 2 that come to mind.
I Love Trouble is also another "chick" flick that is good. (more adventure than "chick" stuff)
As Clay said, just about any John Wayne Movie
Clint Eastwood movies that aren't Anywhich way but loose and sequels.
Anything with Morgan Freeman, Samuel L Jackson or John Travolta(disclaimer...most of Travolta's stuff) will suffice.
The list of favorite movies could go on and on but those are the ones that I like currently.

J/C The Shawshank Redemption (was an extra in the movie and still involeved with giving tours at the Reformatory)
Tango & Cash (see above)
Remember the Titans
Invinceable
The Godfather
She's So Lovely (the worst movie I've ever seen in my life, but my wife and I went to see it for a very special occasion....so the movie blows, but the memories it brings back always warms my heart).
