Hoping my fellow Dawgs can give me their input on my situation - I will be sure to offer my advice on any threads people start in return (for what its worth!)

I am in a money Keeper league. We can keep a player for a maximum of 3 seasons and each year you keep him you must give up your draft pick 2 rounds lower.

I have been offered:-

Reggie Brown and a 5th Round to give up
TJ Housh and a 8th round pick

normally I wouldnt do this but this is the last year I can keep TJ and Reggie Brown can be kept for 2 more seasons.

I feel Reggie Brown may have a great season, he will be the go to guy for McNabb and seeing as they lost Stallworth the Eagles seem a bit light weight at the WR position. Would you do the deal?

My other question is :-

I also have as potential keepers

Shockey for an 11th (last season he can be kept)
Winslow for a 12th (3 seasons left)
Vernon Davis for a 14th (3 seasons left)

I am thinking on Winslow and Davis but would appreciate your input? Its a 12 team league and you can play more than 1 TE if you want! scoring is 1 point for 10 yards receiving, 1 point per reception and 6 points per TD

Thanks

Winslow and Davis.

Im confused about the other part of the question, so if you get Reggie Brown you have to give up a 5th rounder, but if you keep TJ you only have to give up an 8th rounder?

Sorry I didnt explain that very well. There are 2 seperate parts :-

Firstly the trade

------------------------------------------------------

I am receiving his 5th round pick and Reggie Brown
I give him TJ Housh and my 8th round pick

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Then :-

If I decided to keep TJ he will cost me my 8th round pick as one of my keepers.

If I keep Reggie Brown he will cost me my 10th round pick as one of my keepers.

I remember you being really high on Davis last season - do you still feel the same?

I think its a good deal. TJ might outscore Brown in the long run, but Brown has the potential to put up good numbers and then you move up 3 rounds this year and drop your keeper next year.

I am still high on Davis, he put up some good numbers in the small amount of time that he played, showed signs of what he is capable of doing. The 9ers offense is only going to be better this year. Considering the uncertainty of Winslows health Davis is hands down a keeper for you.

I did the trade - and I only gave up my 9th round instead of my 8th round so it was even better - thanks for your input
