VIDEO Wow, if this is what the games of the future will be looking like on the PS3, then I don't think they need to worry about sales.....this game look graphically amazing. It's a long demo, about 15 minutes, but you can quickly see what the gameplay looks like.

not bad, but if you want to see good graphics, go check out Crysis.

Looks sweet. Am I mistaken or did Snake grab that guys' nuts? I'm not big into stealth. The first one I got into was Splinter Cell. I think when it comes to stealth... the graphics play a large role in setting the mood, but overall, it really comes down to level design and gameplay... I guess that could be said for every game though.
The PS3 will sell fine. Like a train, it's just gonna take a while to get rolling. 2008 will be the year for it.

No doubt Crysis will rock. I hope to god it plays well on my system. I actually meet all the "recommended" system specs except for CPU. I'm only running a 3ghz P4 (listed under the minimum specs). Honestly, I'm mostly excited because Farcry was such an amazing game.

Look pretty sweet. I liked the part he was flipping thorugh that girly magazine.
IMO, where the PS3 has a big advantage over the 360, is Six Axis Motion. When you see how it is being incorporated into games, way cool. I will still prob wait till tax time of 2008 to get my PS3.

Damn this looks unbelievable. I've played metal gear solid since the very first one and man, I'm pumped up for this.
I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think I saw something on Crysis once, but didn't look into it much because it was a PC game. I'd have to get another computer for gaming, so I basically use this for music and surfing. This one is getting old.

If nothing else, you should check out one of the hi-def E3 07 walkthrough (all gameplay) footage they posted. I have to say, it's probably the best looking game I've ever seen on any system. A lot of people are thinking it's just a tech demo, but this is from the makers of Farcry, which was a game that offered a good story and great gameplay. I expect this one to be the same.

I was just about to post the same video... it is NOT a tech demo, it is live game footage. It is CLEARLY built off of, and an extension of, the FarCry engine (which was amazing in its own right). The AI and graphics of FarCry was better than any I've seen to date and Crysis just trumps the hell out of it. I can't recall any other game where the individual AI's work together as a squad to flank you and such when hunting you down, using the terrain to their advantage at every chance. Watch the video folks, pay attention to the terrain, the environment, the ambient life and the water.... it is so real, it is sick. The wildlife is amazing, individual leaves on foliage reacts to your movement. There is a good sense of perspective and depth and scale... the rendering is top notch. The water is amazing. yeah, gonna stop now... just go watch it
