Well, I can't blame them. So much losing.

I think it would be in everyone's best interest if the Browns were to win a couple soon.

This is my belief as well. I think that any sort of expectations for the team were set aside through these first two years, knowing full well that things were going to be ROUGH. I've maintained for a while now that it was NEVER about 2017, everything has been being done and built with an eye toward beginning to rise in 2018.

If 2018 starts like this one, though, expect it to get blown apart by Week 6.

Agreed. I think the only thing that gets anyone fired is leaking crap to the media...I imagine Hue has been put on notice for that...at least I hope so.

I agree and like I said, I think if we go 0-16 you might see a change at HC.

Detroit always beats us even when we had good teams. I don't know why but it goes back to 1950 when we joined the league. We have something like 5-20 lifetime record against them. I think Denver is the only team we have a worst record against.

I remember one of the "losing to Denver in the AFC Championship game" years we lost to a crappy Detroit team on Thanksgiving. I think Sanders ran all over us...

Yes... Coleman back, Gordon... whatever Gordon is doing lol, could help get a win or two. And yes, mega interest if that happens. Win. Ending the season not looking like chumps would be equal to a good team making the playoffs IMO.

Here's the deal. Hue has called some really good plays this year that have worked, just not enough of them at the right time. He is intellectually lazy because he has too much on his plate. His ego is in charge sabotaging the ability to be effective. He has to deal with the wife and family, Jimmy and Dee, all the coaches, all the players, the Front office, the dreadful media and he has to devise a game plan each week. Too much clutter!
If he solely concentrated on moving the ball 10 yards with 4 downs to do it in a creative manner, the 3rd down % would improve. I think we are last in the league in 3+outs and 3rd down conversions. These goofy predictable run plays that go for a loss time and time again is killing the offense. You have to be creative! It takes time to sit down and generate a good effective plan but Hue is drowning in his ego. That's where the lack of discipline comes in. The special teams have been horrible but is finally getting better. It's like this guy is a 1st year coach.
The Browns have no real choice but to give it all they have to beat Detroit on Sunday because they have nothing to lose and no where to go but up. The moral of the whole team would get a boost! But I'm sorry, the Lions will score more points because Hue doesn't want to figure out how to move the ball 10 yards in 4 plays consistently enough to get a win!!!You would think he could win at least one game this year but NO.. This man is putting himself 1st before all the Browns fans, the City of Cleveland, the coaching staff and all the players!!!

Exciting football will be back in Cleveland this fall!
