Every team in the AFC has a strength of schedule of over .500, while the NFC has only the Lions at .504.

Yet another example of AFC dominance. The NFC just isn't very good, and since teams for the most part play other teams in their own conference, sometimes things like this happen.

And wouldn't you hate to be the Lions?

For so many reasons, yes. Of course, they might be over there on their message board saying "Wouldn't you hate to be the Browns?" LOL

Ya know Peter King says the Lions are the 13th best team in football.

honestly, does anyone in the nfc scare you?

no one team is really dominant on the line of scrimmage...

the bears? probably good enough for a 5th or 6th seed in the afc...

you can't really pinpoint it either... the top defenses are all in the afc, and that's probably where you begin... san diego, baltimore, new england all have better defenses than anyone in the nfc...

the coaching and quarterbacks are all at a higher standard as well... brady, manning, palmer are the elite...

even the second tier of afc quarterbacks are better than the nfc's first...

i think another direction you can go is the front offices, afc teams just draft a lot better...

There's a specific reason why the 49ers and Arizona look like they have a chance... compared to... us wondering if we'll be out of the basement this year.
