Has anyone watched this show? It's pretty awesome. It's based on a book from Stephen King.

I haven't read the book, so I'm not really sure how similar the show is, but basically this guy finds a portal in a storage room of a small diner that takes you back a few years before the assassination of JFK. The man that finds it, thinks it was put there for someone to prevent JFK from being murdered.

It's 8 episodes long, and a mini-series, so it's basically just a really long movie. I know a lot of Stephen King based movies are not everyone's cup of tea, but this has been a great watch.

I feel like the only thing keeping this down from being last year's Stranger Things is that it's on Hulu and not Netflix, so not as many people have access to it. We don't have Hulu, but a friend let us borrow their account info so we could watch the show.

James Franco is great in this though. The whole cast is actually good, if you are someone who loves to read about the whole JFK story, you can't miss this one.

I haven't seen it but I'll check it out. FX has some really good series. Fargo was easily one of the best shows out.

You would love this. Do you know anyone with an account? I would say find someone who would let you borrow their login for a week or two, or maybe just pay for a month subscription.

That's what I mean though. I don't know too many people with Hulu. I think it's easier to sell people on Netflix because there is just so much more to offer....

That's a show I have wanted to get into for a while now. Candyman has told me a million times about how good it is. Maybe I will see if our friend is ok to let us keep using her account for Fargo.

I think that Hulu gives you a 1 month free trial. I keep getting emails to that effect, anyway.

I don't even know what Netflix and Hulu are. Too bad for me. Do they still send you a movie in the mail from your list after you send one back?

I wouldn't know how to watch that show no matter what.

Let me know when it comes out on CBS, NBC, ABC, or that new fangled FOX station.

They still do that, although they offer a streaming service which is widely used by millions of people.

You can access it through phone, tablet, pc, etc.. most newer tv's have the app built in so you just hit a button on your remote to get to it.

They have original programming, as well as some network tv stuff. All the walking dead episodes end up on there, breaking bad, I think all of AMC is on there.

They have great original programming though. House of Cards, Orange is the New Black, Stranger Things.

The Making a Murderer documentary which polarized everyone was put on netflix.

It's basically a built in library of movies and tv shows. You can still get the movies in the envelopes but it's an extra charge.

I loved the show, and I LOVED the book.

The show does a really solid job of staying faithful to the book for the most part, but obviously it cannot have *everything* that was in the book.

I saw the show before I read the book, and it in no way ruined things for me - in fact, it probably made it better.

Plus, if you are a Stephen King fan, there are some fun tie-ins to other stories of his that you will enjoy smile

The book is mostly great. It gets REALLY dry from about 50% to 75% of the way through. I did absolutely love the book and got my Hulu subscription solely to watch this show last year. We, of course, ended up keeping it as we don't have cable and there were some shows my wife likes to watch on there.

The show does a pretty solid job of conveying the book, though there's lots of stuff that's missing or glossed over like you have to do with any screen adaptation.
