Comes out Friday, always loved the movies. Daughter and me cant wait to download it Friday and play it all weekend on XBox One. The game reviewer on the 99.7 yesterday morning said it could surprise and be the game of the year. Anyone else excited about it?

I remember playing this on the C64 all the time: I think I had more fun on a C64 and or the Amiga than anything ever!

It's getting bad reviews on steam, holding off for now.
Just wondering what anyone's thoughts on how good or bad the game is from this forum since I respect the opinion of many here. Steam reviewers always seem a bit nitpicky.

Good game but the connectivity, and always getting kicked out by the game is bad, but when you get to play the game its a good game. When they get all the bugs fixed it will be a great game. Its a little like a call of duty game.
Today it is running good, daughter is on a 6 game stretch with no problems.

I remember playing this on the C64 all the time: Wow Flashbacks just hit my right square in the face with that picture lol. Gz have consoles changed and etc so much compared to that era. I watched the trailer for this game awhile ago. I felt like it was something that could just get really repetitive and therefore, boring, quickly. Like Assassin's Creed I. I'm not a big fan of the Friday the 13th movies, either, so I know that probably plays into a little.
