This drafted has addressed a bunch of areas that really needed it.
Edge, CB and S.
I've read and heard over and over again that the 3-tech is 'thee' pivotal player in a 43 defense.
And right now we don't have a healthy returning solid starter, much less a difference maker at that position.
Larry Ogun is one of the few remain players that the attributes and production to be a starting 3-tech.
Let's round out the defense and take the straw that stirs the drink!
Ogun! Ogun! Ogun!

shoot! clicked on the wrong guy LOL
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

I didn't vote for the guy, but in picking Jones in addition to already having Melifonwu - we'd have 2 safeties with 4.4 speed at 220 lbs. And both could essentially play any DB position based on their histories.

I know Butt got hurt and is out for a while, but wasn't he 1st or 2nd round talent? I know we want guys to play and contribute right away, but he could be a steal here (unless taking him at the top of the 3rd is still too early for an ACL tear in a bowl game).

He was rated first/second by CBS back in the fall, and I know first-pick had him going in the first as well (though who knows what that site uses as rankings). He seems to be rated mid 2nd to mid 3rd now based on the sites I use (Pro Football Focus, CBS, NFL.com) Not sure if that helps.

Fabian Moreau tore his peck muscle on his pro day ... Courtesy NFL Network!

DeDe has to be the best value at this pick? I'm away for Easter vacation with the kids and only on phone.... But DeDe was rated ahead of Zay Jones on some boards including PFF I think. BPA.
The more things change the more they stay the same.
