Of the prospects out there which ones do you hope we avoid. I think we can all concur that Garrett will be the #1 pick. As we get to #12, #33, #52, etc. which prospects do you simply not want on this team be it for bust potential or character concern.

On the short list I have John Ross (Speed overshadows other flaws and health concerns), Dalvin Cook (Fumbling Issues) and Jabrill Peppers (Just a gut feeling, I think he lacks the instinct to play secondary in the NFL. Decent return man but not worth that high of a pick).

Who are you hoping we avoid?

Mixon, for the obvious
Tim Williams, admittedly failed several drug tests at Alabama
Dede Westbrook, multiple domestic violence arrests
Dalvin Cook, fumblitis, inability to block, and a slew of character issues

I'm sure there are more with domestic violence backgrounds that I can't think of off the top of my head.

And a couple I'd be very hesitant about:
Donnel Pumphrey - great college running back, but he was only able to bench 5 times at the combine.
Channing Stribling and Tee z Tabor - 5 and 9 bench presses and both over 4.6 in the 40

edits: I agree with CHS about the QBs in round 1
I think Devonte Fields also has a domestic violence background, so no thanks

Yep, I'll be sick if we draft Trub, Watson, Maholmes, etc in the 1st. They aren't worth it. There's no franchise qb in this draft

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Only guy for sure I don't want is John Ross - I think he's going to get dinged up plenty.

::Feeling it!

No QB in first round. We "earned" where we sit as fans. Get us out of first round without trading down or screwing this up again.

Any QB in the first.

Any WR that has the dropsies. I don't care how much upside there is, if he's known to drop more than the average WR, no thanks.

Any TE that isn't a great blocker. If he's all about catching the ball and basically just a larger WR, no thanks.

So basically every tight end in the league besides Gronk and Witten?

Also Mahomes unless it's with our later 2nd round pick or later. I just think he's got too much work to be a legit starter in his first couple seasons
