Last year I noticed a season ending “special deal” from MLB.tv. I think it was like $12 for the last two weeks of the season.

So for $12, I thought “sure” and I signed up.

That turned out to be a great move. Boy did I enjoy those last two weeks of Indians games. Thirteen games against the White Sox, Royals and Tigers.

Watched every one. And of course it had a happy ending. What a great second half of September for me - an Indians game everyday right on my PC.

I really got to know the players. The best I’ve know the Tribe since the mid-90s.

Only problem is that I’m an early-to-bed early-to-rise guy and it was a bit of a disruption to my usual routine. (the 7:10 pm EST games were getting over at 10-10:30 pm - my preference is to be in bed by 7 pm).

So MLB.tv is offering the entire regular season for $112.99.

Or $24.99/month.

If my routine was different, I’d sign-up for the year. Tax season is over April 15th.

Maybe I’ll buy a month or two.

Any of you out-of-town dawgs get MLB.tv?

You go to bed at 7pm? crazy What time do you go to work?

It's not the time I go to work Y.

My favorite routine is getting up at 3-3:30 am, exercising for an hour (mostly stretches laying on the floor). Afterwards, having a cup of coffee and doing a sudoku puzzle, reading the daily newspaper and reading a little spanish (I've been learning spanish on-line since last August) I'm probably at a fourth grade level already.

By 7 am it's time to get ready for work (January-Mid-April).

Some of my usual exercise routine:

Yes, that's the "Moon over Parma Half Lotus" stretch.

Actually, upon a closer look, it looks like the girl is stretching on a bridge.

I get MLB.tv here in PDX so i can follow the Tribe, and have for years. I watch the games either on my computer or on my device of choice (Apple TV or Roku) as well as just the audio stream on my phone, when I run or do yard work. Love it - watched the game yesterday and will watch the Cubs game today as well. It is about the one subscription I have kept for many years and the last one I will give up! wink

I think I am going to get it...

I might just get a firestick and have kodi put on it so I can watch pirated streams... Not sure yet.

If you can wait, they usually offer a discounted package at the all star break for 50$. They offer specials every once in a while.

They also offer a per-team deal, which I almost got, except it didn't include the radio broadcast, and I can't stand listening to Matt Undrewood (the worst).

When we lived in St. Louis and Baltimore, we bought the packages for the Tribe and the Blue Jackets. We at least felt a little at home knowing we could watch them. When we moved from Steubenville to Parkersburg, we were fortunate enough to have STO and Fox Sports Ohio as part of our Directv package. We watched both spring games this weekend.
