Saw him play in 2002. Great athlete. Sketchy man, as a younger person, with the dogfighting and such, but if a person improves as a human being when they get older, how long can you hold it over his head?
very electric player. I'll never forget playing as him in Madden in my high school years. off the field is a different story, but he was quite fun to watch
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."
He was an exciting player, especially when he was younger. I vividly remember that play against the Vikings. Also for us old school gamers/nerds, Michael Vick in Madden 2004 was one of the most dominant video game players ever. Completely unstoppable in the hands of a good player.
Anyway, the off-field stuff sours me on the guy. It wasn't just the dog-fighting ring, but also some of the sicking things that were done to those dogs in conjunction with that ring. It's probably best to just leave it at that
Sorry, but that struck me as hilarious. "old school" combined w/playing video games.
Oh, and not laughing AT you........it's just hysterical.
Oh I know-- it felt funny typing it out.
Fun fact: The Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) was released in Japan almost 34 years ago... July 15, 1983 to be exact. The North American release was October 18, 1985.

I agree. Everybody has things in the closet they aren't proud of.
If everybody had like minds, we would never learn.

Yes. The brutal torture of animals for money and enjoyment is just youthful exuberance. I mean, we all did things like that in our younger days, right? That kind of behavior isn't indicative of the character of a human being, it's just one of those things we all did that we wish nobody had found about. Yeah.
