I've been hearing and reading that Ohio State is close to hiring former Indiana head coach Kevin Wilson. That would be a game changer for our offense. He coached some incredibly explosive offenses and QBs at Oklahoma from 2002-2010.

Hey, remember this too. Last time Clemson embarrassed us in a bowl game we hired Chris Ash to fix our defense and we win the NC the next year.

huge hire if it happens. Urban always had high praise too ... that's big IMO

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

I was thinking Mark Helfrich, but I'd be ok with this.

I doubt if the Shoe is big enough for his ego, though. I didn't like him in Oregon. I didn't like him as a pro coach and I most certainly would not like him at OSU.

Yeah, just read that Chip is in Columbus.

Wow.

He could just sit in Columbus for a year until a big name job opens up.

I don't like Chip either.

However, his offensive philosophy would mesh w/what Urban wants to do.

It's late in the process for getting a college HC job. He could come to Ohio State for a year, kick ass, tutor an assistant, and then accept a job at a top-flight collegiate program the following year.

Makes perfect freaking sense to me.

You're spot on Vers

Unless he needs to rest, why not? I 100% believe he will be coaching Notre Dame once Brian Kelly is fired.

lol what? Woke up to this news. I guess patience and waiting to get a coach after a bowl game really pays off.

Minne won 9 games and their bowl this past year. Will Fleck win more or less next year?

I think it was good timing for him to leave WMU, his stock will never be higher. Losing their WR to the NFL (Davis?) and being undefeated, there's almost a guarantee for a letdown in 2017 if he had stayed.

When I hear a high school football recruit say he chose an SEC school for "academics" I'm assuming "academics" is just slang for booty.

That is not funny or accurate.

I would LOVE Stanfords recruiting class if it wasn't so small. They got the best QB and best offensive tackles. I'm not sure why Stanford is rolling with 9 kids. I don't see them landing a whole lot more either.

Noah Brown declared and I expect Jamarco Jones to follow.

Darnay Holmes committed to UCLA (kind of a shocker for me). I expect us to land Kendall Sheffield who will start day 1 for us, but be one and done. Okudah finally committed to us.

Lastly, Tate Martell has looked really good in high school all American practices. He's going to our future QB.

Tate should be good - I assume we'll redshirt him next year... Kid has been recruiting a bunch of his buddies to OSU as well..

California fired HC Sonny Dykes.

The 47-year-old Dykes went 19-30 (10-26 Pac-12) in four seasons. The Bears regressed to 5-7 this season following the departure of No. 1 overall pick QB Jared Goff and his top six receivers. Speculation has the Bears targeting newly unemployed Chip Kelly, who wouldn't have to send the moving trucks far to get to Berkeley. Kelly went 33-3 in conference play at Oregon. Bruce Feldman of FOX Sports, who reported the firing, has also tossed out 31-year-old Cal OC Jake Spavital and Wisconsin DC Justin Wilcox as potential Dykes replacements.

Clemsons WRs have a dog mentality and will keep it close. Clemsons d-line will also put up a tremendous effort. Carlos Watkins is a guy I really like.

Bama wins.

Yeah, Kiffin got the early boot because he showed up late to team meetings and practices.

Yeah, I knew about him taking the HC job. I just didn't know that he wasn't coaching in this game. 'Bama better hope this isn't a close game late. The collar on Sark's shirt might get tight.

Coverage is outstanding as well and with that front....tall order.

Clemson needs to bring out there man beaters...'rub', bunch, drags.
And move the pocket. Mix in some delay draws get Gallman in the quick passing game and get the tempo going.

OR find away to run on 1st down
