I wanted to post how excited I am that my alma mater YSU is heading to the National Championship game! The game against E.Washington was one helluva game that ended in a spectacular catch!



Also big congrats to my fellow high school alumnus Bo Pellini on a job well done!

And they won the game with four seconds in left! I don't know how to grab the clip but it's on this page:

I posted it in the Bowl Game thread, but yeah, that was a magical play ..... and thank goodness he made that catch, because he was tackled before the ball was even halfway to him, and the officials didn't throw a flag.

Man, we were missing some players, in fact, both staring Safeties, IIRC. The team fought their butts off, took the lead late, then gave it back up ..... only to take the lead for good with 1 second left.

I was freaking out a bit during that 80 lateral kickoff return with no tine left. However, we're on to the National Championship Game baby! January 7th, we bring another trophy home to YTown!

It would be really special if YSU and tOSU would win championhips in the same season.
