Isiah Crowell is not Leveon Bell.

However, did you SEE what Bell just did to Buffalo?

If we can't run the ball, we won't win. I don't think we ran it enough against Cincy.

Feed the Crow. Call the Duke.

Crow needs 20+ Carries

Duke needs 10 +

My guesstimate is that Crow will end up with 15, while Duke gets 5.

And Shady McCoy will get 30.

LeVeon was amazing vs Buffalo. He broke the Steelers all-time rushing for a game record with 236 yards rushing. Hopefully Crowell can do some damage as well!

as has been the case with a lot of other coaches we've had who've preached "run the ball" ... Hue gets pass happy, even before the game's out of reach

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

I agree that Hue gets pass happy at times, but as far as the second part, the games can get out of reach pretty quick.

We need to find a way to string together drives period. Going 3 and out constantly makes it difficult to establish anything.

Hopefully we won't be pinned inside our own 20 for most of this game.

I'd like to see us run the ball about twice as much as we do. The guy I'd like to see get a lot more touches is Duke. Between Crow and Duke, there should be about 40 offensive touches, including rushes, screen and swing passes.

I don't know about 40, but 30 I would agree.

Over the past few games, the drives stalled, for the most part, due to having two different QBs that couldn't complete a pass. And guys dropping balls.

I say run the ball until you can't anymore. To my untrained eye, Crow seems to get better with more carries. Then as he gets better, Duke comes in and changes things up nicely.

Time to control the TOP.

Weather on Sunday in Buffalo...

Cloudy skies early, followed by partial clearing. A few flurries or snow showers possible. Morning high of 32F with temps falling to near 20. Winds W at 15 to 25 mph.

Crow needs to make sure he takes care of the ball..cold, windy and possible snow showers...the way football is meant to be played, with a focus on basics.

Man, if we could get some weather like in the Buffalo game in '07, we'd have a much better chance of getting win #1. confused

Of course we no longer have Phil . . .
